  1. the reaction of those clubs will be interesting. Edit: Just had a quick cheak of the other clubs and it looks like Buster has tried to pull the wool over people's eyes again. Every team has held their price with Somerset and Leicester holding theirs at £17
  2. Another one that doesn't get it, and yes I am a parent thanks
  3. Doesn't matter how big a fan someone is, there's always a point that breaks that passion. Last season did that for me and I have every right to complain if I don't believe things have improved. In my opinion, there doesn't look to be any improvement for 2018 so I'm complaining about it Thank-You
  4. It seems you're not understanding. The club are trying to attract a new fan. If it's just the usual adult who always goes just this time with 2 kids instead of 0 the club makes a loss. They're chasing new adults to bring kids in for the future. This initiative is doomed to fail, I have no doubt
  5. The problem is, the adult is the one that has to take the junior to the meeting. If said adult thinks £18 is to much, he and the child misses out. That's the most likely outcome to newbies that they're trying to attract, punishing the regulars that's always been there.
  6. Typical speedway, better of with less people to support it Have fun
  7. And Peterborough is Friday or Sunday so a nice weekend bonus
  8. I'm allowed an opinion regardless of whether you see it as moaning or not. As of now to your great delight I'm sure, I'm no longer attending. There's no justification in increasing adult admission prices in an even further watered down league. As they say in Dragons Den - I'm Out
  9. I just can't get excited by this team. The majority of the team have been part of the failing team of the last few years. I'm just not seeing the average improvements in the riders signed.
  10. They have stated that the final 2 riders will be announced tonight
  11. Top 4 (in no particular order) Poole Swindon Wolverhampton Belle Vue 5-6 can put up a top 4 challenge Leicester Somerset Wooden spooners Rye House King's Lynn
  12. You're right. More than anything fans want continuity but only when things are going right. At King's Lynn though, they stick by rider's when clearly things ain't so and that's the issue. 2018 is turning into same old, same old. Iversen, Lambert, Rose, Kerr have been in a failing Stars side consistently, not saying any are to blame but if we want to improve, just shifting the furniture about doesn't cut it
  13. I really fear our future is on the brink. I shall not be there much in 2018 and if things go as badly as this team looks then there will be huge concern by mid season
  14. You happy with the 5 currently selected then? A total crock of poop being put together and clearly built on the cheap
  15. The club is supposed to be breeding positivity ahead of 2018 season then this, a total smack in the face. Big time Charlie
  16. Check out @silverbee52’s Tweet: https://twitter.com/silverbee52/status/951391168528506880?s=09
  17. 1. Iversen 9.04 2. Jorgensen 5.93 3. ?????? 5.66 4. Rose 5.25 5. Lambert 7.38 6. Kerr 5.06 7. Manzerez 4.18 Ave: 36.84 Remaining: 5.66
  18. Agree with you, I don't think he'll even achieve his 8 average. British Speedway will certainly be a culture shock to him
  19. When there are positives then I'd certainly give those deserving a pat on the back. Last season really killed me though, took up a season ticket for the 1st time ever after feeling really positive. At the end the only positive was Thomas Jorgensen. The club has a lot of making up to do, get it all wrong in the first couple of meetings things could really turn sour very quickly. I believe the promotion do understand that 2018 is hugely important and fingers crossed they get it right for all concerned
  20. Some of us have have been extremely positive for many many years. Season 2017 broke the camels back for many
  21. Unless we're asking Iversen to drop a point off his average then bring in another over 8 in May
  22. See, the thing is with Speedway we all have to be total kissass or we're not welcome. Then when those running the sport look around at their empty terraces they seem clueless on why "us moaners" are no longer there. They're right, we're wrong. That's why British Speedway is in it's best position it ever been in
  23. I believe after a couple of months you'd be looking for him to get sacked. He's finished as a top line racer
