  1. It's all well and good asking Buster to step down as chairman but the truth is, not 1 clubs promoter is good enough to save the sport. The only way this sport can survive is with an independent board of control, problem being is that this would also cost money the sport in this country doesn't have.
  2. Buster had probably the best person to help him out in his own son and they've fallen out. Rob & Dale were suppose to be running the Speedway but Buster was the one to sack Holder & Batchelor. Rob has said he'd left due to other commitments but I'm not sure that's the real reason, it was convenient after that horror evening. Buster cannot and will not work with someone that tells him how to run a business, that is as clear as anything. King's Lynn's Speedway future currently looks very very bleak
  3. I've nothing against the team at all. I like the team and enjoyed watching them. The stance Buster took with Batchelor and Holder I agree with. As a season ticket holder though I've been mugged and the contempt that Buster has for loyal supporters is unbelievable. By the sounds of it many fans feel the same and didn't attend against Poole on Thursday too. No doubt there'll be even less for the Rye House meeting. I take it you're very happy with how things are then?
  4. If there is a relegation match I'll be cheering the opposition but via live updates. I can't bear ever entering the gates of the AFA again while in the Premiership. Go back to the league where we belong and rider show they care a bit more
  5. I've missed you Shadders, that comment reminds me of the PL days
  6. What credit is that? Lambert is nowhere near the best we have now. Stevie Worrall has shot past him, Cookie is a million miles ahead. He's still behind Harris, King and Nicholls when it comes to racing against the stronger riders. Against the stronger riders I'd put Ellis ahead of Lambert. Woffinden is way ahead of everyone. In 2018 Lambert wouldn't even get a World Cup place if I was manager. As for our riders not having the equipment to compete, I think that's nonsense personally. We shouldn't be 25 points behind the Aussies, they seem to do alright with their equipment. Josh Pickering even managed 6 points ffs, he even got a race win. Something not 1 of our lads managed. I'd question our youngsters mentality over anything else first.
  7. I've a season ticket and been well and truly ripped off. 2017 season for me was over at the Wolves double header. Walked out after heat 15 of the 1st match and won't be back again. As far as I'm concerned, Rye House should be awarded the 4 points
  8. GB's future isn't in the hands of Robert Lambert. He's average and will never be better than that
  9. Seen plenty mention that the 2017 season is one to forget. For me, it's one that should be very much remembered by fans and management if as a club we move forward.
  10. If that's the case Lambert wouldn't be in my 3, struggles badly against top riders. Stevie Worrall is ahead imo
  11. Certainly seems like Freddie has dumped them for good as his results have improved greatly
  12. I am no longer attending the AFA King's Lynn fan viewing social media updates, that's it. Never again will I be going to any league speedway anywhere.
  13. The whole evening was over when Toft was announced not riding and Porsing only had 1 bike. It was never gonna be a good night for the Stars
  14. I agree with you. If Lambert has any chance of being one of the worlds best riders he needs to get away from King's Lynn
  15. For what it's worth my views regarding last night https://twitter.com/KLStarsFan/status/900651074864001024
  16. I've seen live comedy before but this really is the best show I've seen by far. A brilliant night's entertainment this. Can't get better anywhere else in the world for £25
  17. R/R already in operation for both teams so IRR can't be used at any point
  18. After this season it would be absolute poetry if Holder doesn't get an SGP wildcard and then get's dumped by Monster.
  19. Don't think right now it's right or needed for British Speedway to scrap doubling up/down. I'd much prefer Weds/Thurs as the 2 dates. Most of the Premiership clubs would prefer those 2 days over a Monday which only Wolves currently do King's Lynn Belle Vue Somerset Leicester Rye House They own their own stadiums but not sure many of their fans would be for Monday racing Poole Swindon They'll find it difficult to have a Monday as a home fixture regularly due to facilities being used Wolves could easily move to Wednesday racing. Wednesday / Thursday could also encourage Sheffield / Ipswich to make the move up Wednesday King's Lynn Belle Vue Rye House Poole Wolves Thursday Somerset Swindon Leicester Sheffield Ipswich
  20. I'm hoping Buster chucks a whole load of extra dirt down tonight. There's a certain Aussie in the Wolves ranks that won't fancy that and with them running R/R it could tip the balance a little
  21. His comments about opposing rider's was acceptable in your opinion then? When he himself is of very similar ilk in getting himself into difficulty
  22. Friday 1st & Weds 6th have both been on the calendar for some time. Should imagine Weds 6th will now be at home to Rye House
  23. Very proud of our team tonight, very very unlucky not to collect a point imo but still, much happier with this team than the previous 100% ⭐⭐UP THE STARS⭐⭐
