  1. It's called Tourrettes Gemini. He does it all the time. Was watching him in the pits at Kings Lynn and spoke to him over the railings and he physically struggles to keep still. I think it's great that he's giving speedway a go and speedway is allowing him too also. People misunderstand Tourrettes as just someone swearing
  2. Promoters used to be on here regularly putting out press releases, after match reports, explaining club issues etc etc but almost all left because members of this forum had a lack of communication skill and just battered them with blatant rudeness and on occasions aggressive private messages. To which, none of the members seems to receive bans for. Quite a few of the members on here even use to nit pick at ridiculous things like spelling / grammar mistakes etc which to be quite frank is ridiculous. I'd love nothing more than Promoters, Managers & riders being able to express a view without immediately being ridiculed. To an extent, the Mods on here should be tougher and maybe, just maybe they'll return.
  3. BSI will be on a loser if they try and take on Poland. The only way for them to succeed in that kind of battle is to gain the backing from the BSPA, DMU & SVEMO and more importantly the FIM but they do need all 4. Not likely a at all is it
  4. They're not permanent fences. They're put up and down every meeting at King's Lynn & over a season are more economical as you don't have to replace an air bag due to puncture and tearing. The initial lay out in cost is no more than the highest quality air fence
  5. Pretty enjoyable in the end with anyone being the pick of race winners. Surprised not much had been mentioned regarding the crash earlier with Dryml. Amazing that both riders looked to suffer minimal injury. That was big. It again raised the question about air fences when the bike goes in first. Poly foam is the way forward
  6. Cheers RR. Schedule still blank so I didn't know whether they'd had rain or something in Russia so the schedules had been altered?
  7. Is this supposed to be live on British Eurosport? My Sky planner now shows no programme scheduled at the time the speedway should be live??
  8. Well, if K Pod performs in this, would BSI consider a Latvian for one of next year's Wildcards rather than the usual Pole or Swede???
  9. I don't think it was a bad GP at all for the Italian round. OK, not much passing but that's not everything in speedway. The track had more than one line and having to watch the slower riders skilfully defend their lines was great. In term of hard riding Iversen was the best on show especially the 2 races against Pedersen. Iversen & Woffinden were the fastest men on show and both deserved to be on the podium. Suyfutinov can count himself lucky but to be a World champion it's all about getting results when not fully on it The series is about to get exciting with the top 2 battling it out and the fought for the top 8 is looking tough too
  10. Worrying too watch with Covatti. Fingers crossed it's just precaution
  11. First thought's are with Ricky Ashworth & family and seriously wishing for rhe right outcome. Secondly, Scunthorpe supporter's should have a right to reply regarding abusive insults directed at Ashworth after the accident. Was it just one or a few? Somebody on here will know them. These people should hang their head in shame if they remain silent as these fans / fan should be reported and suspended from Scunthorpe Speedway. Best wishes Ricky fella, don't give up
  12. I'm afraid Bryn is wrong with regards to forums not being taken seriously. I work for a multi billion $ US company who use forum's for feedback, faxbacks, emails etc. We request people to be anonymous unless they wish to be contacted. It's the right way for any business in the modern World to survive. The modern World is full of high demand and speedway is stuck in the 80's. It is in serious need of change to move forward and I'm afraid to say it but the people in charge are old past it dinosaurs Need to get in the 21st century BSPA
  13. He certainly did Greg. I don't think the lad needs the PL either. He's already got Germany with a spot available in Denmark too in 2014. It won't be to long before Swedish & Polish speedway take a look too.
  14. Question as I have no idea. Was Middlo a team manager before Mart Ford came along and how did those teams do???
  15. In 2002 at Peterborough the place was packed out with no Great Britain in the final. I think we just appreciate seeing the World's best rider's on show as it doesn't happen over here very often these days. If Belle Vue get it the place will be rammed with or without home representation
  16. Injured rider's thread in speedway general discussions
  17. What on earth are you talking about. Waldron moved to reserve & Hazelden in the main body of the team as of the averages issued on the 18th July. The IOW meeting was Weds 17th July & Buxton before that so I don't understand what's illegal???
  18. The biggest inspiration Greg showed to his younger riders was National pride. Something evidently lacking from British speedway by our riders for many many many many many many years
  19. Well, with the rider's we had it's a total embarrassment to finish bottom of the pile. Wells, Fisher & Manzares should not be leading Harris, Bridger & Baker. Absolute joke.
  20. At the moment may be. As a rider overall, they're the same. Will never be good enough for top level International Speedway
  21. Because he's of the same standard as Kennett. King & Kennett should be excluded from any future GB squads
  22. GB all the way in International events. Just a thought though, most of the Danish, US & Swedish flags being waved yesterday & Twitter comments of supporting other nations came from young girls & women. Is it as simple as the chicks dig the di, well ya know what I'm saying
