  1. So, to be clear here. Regardless of what's on offer everyone should rock up a support the team?
  2. This King's Lynn side would batter 'top of the table' Oxford so I'm not sure it's right to call it a mid table Championship side. The 1-3-5 is closer but Oxford would be dominated at 2-4-6-7 positions 1. Sam Masters vs Artem Laguta 2. Henry Atkins vs Kye Thomson 3. Lewis Kerr vs Michael Palm-Toft 4. Jordan Jenkins vs Thomas Jorgensen 5. Scott Nicholls vs Nicolai Klindt 6. Cameron Heeps vs Simon Lambert 7. Ryan Kinsley vs Anders Rowe
  3. Think that's were the confusion is, Buster thought they where 2 Ekstraliga juniors & wouldn't sign off the chitty
  4. I've got to be honest, I think that press release is an absolute disgrace. It's a clear effort to not put any blame on to Buster & or Allitt. People have missed the point in that King's Lynn (& Peterborough) have been run disgracefully even pre Brady & the common denominator in that is the 2 names within my 2nd paragraph. It's not a coincidence
  5. I'm simply saying that's not something you can throw at King's Lynn fans, we're used to not winning. There are far greater circumstances to people not attending, not winning isn't a major factor.
  6. In the top flight King's Lynn & glory hunting isn't something that can be thrown at King's Lynn fans ever. Many on here have been fans for more than 30yrs & success isn't what is demanded. What is demanded though in 2023 is VFM. There's not 1 thing currently about King's Lynn (& Peterborough) that give anything back to the fans. Poor track, poor racing, poor team, poor food etc. Why should us not going feel guilty if the club closes?? I've always said it, I'll say it again & it's absolutely, without question, fact: IT'S NEVER THE FANS FAULT IF A CLUB CLOSES. It's on those running the clubs
  7. Sorry to all the fans that continue to hold on to that passion to still attend meetings while British Speedway continues to shoot itself in the foot.
  8. I've already stated, Sedgmen went back to the pits because of the fall which allows all rider's to return. Tarasenko got lucky, had Sedgmen not needed to go back to the pits Tarasenko would have been excluded.
  9. Correct, it was stopped because a rider fell & the rider at fault from the tapes gained an advantage. The referee chose the unsatisfactory start option & called all four back. It's not hard to grasp, it is an option to the referee's.
  10. It was so your point is irrelevant. We'll never know but had the rider not fallen the referee may have continued the heat.
  11. Anyone willing to share what Simon Lambert's "telling it like it is" was or are we going through the "I know something you don't know?"
  12. Yes, all down to whether the referee deemed someone had gained an advantage. Even if a rider rolls or anticipates the start but comes out 4th, they will still be deemed as "gaining an advantage" if another rider falls. It's all referees discretion
  13. For an unsatisfactory start Sedgmen wouldn't be excluded for falling. If Sedgmen had to return to the pits because of the fall, the remaining 3 riders can also return to the pits.
  14. Didn't think you could leave the track for an unsatisfactory start? I assume that's what iainb's asking which should have resulted in Tarasenko being excluded.
  15. Point being missed here with comparison. Around 60mins of actual playing time but even with throw in's, goal kicks, free kicks, substitutions there's still something for the fans to see. Even when the ball is 'out of play' the tactical game continues. You still get to see 90-100mins of something, all the players. With Speedway, after every heat, to the fans the meeting is totally dead.
  16. This is also were problems can start. A little chat trackside things get miss heard & misinterpreted & once information gets '4th hand' it can get dangerous. A '1st hand' account, direct from those involved is all we need. British Speedway isn't in a strong position for 'Radio Silence', it's making the situation worse, especially for fans of struggling clubs.
  17. Hang on a second, if you're willingly accepting conversation with regards the goings on trackside (which is a good thing by the way), why not just say now on the forum? Of course, you'll probably get some s#!t for it but why not be open & honest with all, rather than one? This is all every fans wants in the first place.
  18. The best thing promoters could do is set up a gazebo in town & city centres every weekend during the season & conduct a survey. Have just 2 surveys available: Have you ever heard of Motorcycle Speedway? Do you no longer attend Motorcycle Speedway? The sport does not need to hear from those attending weekly, but those who don't. Giving away freebies could work for a very short time but because the products broken it's unsustainable. The promoters desperately need to get it through their heads why people just ain't interested. It'll be the only way they'll listen. Promoters need to actually do some work for a change.
  19. King's Lynn tried this one year in the 2nd tier & half of the tickets found there way in to the hands of those already attending or at least attended Speedway before & happy to attend for the freebie. The majority of the rest didn't ever get used. The idea is ok in principle but as with what happened with King's Lynn, that would be what Horton meant by losing money. It's not from potential new supporters, it's from the existing taking the freebie.
  20. Coming in 2024: 5 man teams, 10 heats, £30 admission, meetings can be called a result after Heat 3.
  21. And he out scored the guy they want to replace him with
