Wolverhampton would be the perfect sized track for this -
Nobody can even be bothered to pirate BSN

Methanol is a green fuel!
Daniel Smith replied to Ray Stadia's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Each tyre reqires around 14 litres of oil & as they're only single use it adds up to being worse for the environment than a family with 2 cars, including the petroleum burnt per year. Does anyone know the process for the meeting worn tyres? Do these end up in landfill? Burn pits? -

SCB's excuse for Artem Laguta
Daniel Smith replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The 7 day ban serves no purpose because King's Lynn don't have their next meeting until 9 days after the ban issued. With Laguta already not "chosen" for the Pairs, King's Lynn are not innocent in the fraudulent behaviour. -
SCB's excuse for Artem Laguta
Daniel Smith replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So, now we've established that rider's, regardless of reason, gets banned for 7 days for none Speedway related injuries, why don't they say: "I dropped my bike on my leg whilst packing the van? Make everything Speedway related." Can't ride today because whilst I was loading my bike in the van it rolled back over my fingers" etc etc. No need to ever ride at your worst track again. Every loophole that gets closed, there's always another. -
Morning update; Laguta's been let go due to club costs & Buster will operate in the same manner as Peterborough in R/R & guests at No1 to save money as guests are cheaper than a replacement. This could also see Tarasenko leave Peterborough as he was splitting costs with Laguta. @Flappy @Phil The Ace Do your work guys as I don't believe this. Things are getting totally nuts
-
No, you just get another medical certificate for the next away meeting & so on & so on. You can't stop it.
-
Medical certificates will cover away meetings, there's nothing the BSPL could do about it to be honest. I still don't see this happening though

Peterborough Panthers 2023

Shouldn't it be the El Brassico Derby now -
I don't think the series is boring just because Zmarzlik is winning. There are 17 heats he's not in but yet it's him that provides the real entertainment when he misses a gate. In terms of pure speed, only Bewley comes close, but he's struggling with consistency & lacks that fearless ability that Zmarzlik has when behind. We're desperate for all the other rider's to show more character, be harder
-
Thing is, Brady has said that he's left the club financially stable for the remainder of the season & Buster says the team is over budget. One of them is lying.
-
Even if there was a £3,000 earnings for the winners, Laguta & Sayfutdinov still wouldn't turn up, why should they.
-
He wasn't "injured" Monday, his withdrawal was precautionary. Laguta is 100% fit.
-
Money & rightly so he shouldn't turn up.
-
I've got 2 stories. The person most reliable said that he'll 100% be at Wolves if he come through today without another injury as he's 100% fit. The other is Buster is trying to use Laguta from now on (& agreed by Laguta) for home meetings only. I'm not convinced by that, the BSPL won't have that nonsense surely. @Flappy has said previously too that Laguta is looking for new Premiership team. Not heard that one myself but not impossible, but don't see where he fits to be honest at any other team.

Don't agree it's a closed shop. The ball park is the Ekstraliga & just looking at the top 20 in the averages we pretty much get those rider's year after year. We certainly don't want to see the like of Kolodziej, Wozniak & Hampel in it anymore. The real struggle is, soon, the SGP Series could become Polish dominated if Sweden, Denmark & UK don't get their fingers out their a$$. There's not many U30s showing up & out performing the OAPs but once these guys hang up their Kevlars it's Poland all the way.
-
Woffinden has declined significantly, the World Cup is a concern as he's certainly not were he should be with form. As for GP standard, there's not many rider's in the World right now I'd take him out the 15 for. Sayfutdinov & Laguta are the obvious but I can't pick 15 rider's ahead of him, that makes him GP standard.
-
Just eead some of the comments & I agree. The SGP's have become a sport of wet lettuce's with one man allowed to do as he pleases. There's no passion from the others to stop him. In years gone by Zmarzlik wouldn't have survived as he'd have had regular trips to the fence. He is rightly & no questions the best there is around, at the same time, everyone makes it easy for him. The SGP series has become Formula 1, it's no longer about hard aggressive racing.

Old news -
I think the top league will continue. Glasgow still considering going up & Oxford want to be back at the top table. If Wolverhampton don't come to tapes I can see Van Straaten moving Redcar up. A Premiership & Championship with 7 teams each highly likely.
