  1. Just eead some of the comments & I agree. The SGP's have become a sport of wet lettuce's with one man allowed to do as he pleases. There's no passion from the others to stop him. In years gone by Zmarzlik wouldn't have survived as he'd have had regular trips to the fence. He is rightly & no questions the best there is around, at the same time, everyone makes it easy for him. The SGP series has become Formula 1, it's no longer about hard aggressive racing.
  2. I think the top league will continue. Glasgow still considering going up & Oxford want to be back at the top table. If Wolverhampton don't come to tapes I can see Van Straaten moving Redcar up. A Premiership & Championship with 7 teams each highly likely.
  3. Disagree a little, Anders would cost more than Edwards. Replacement was needed for Jakobsen & on current form (as strange as it sounds) Lambert could be better. This team has improved imo
  4. My goodness me, that's seen as reasonable?? British Speedway really is in the s#!t
  5. Not true. Wroclaw have said they'll not stand in the way for Laguta & it's personally up to him to continue or not. Laguta is committed to King's Lynn (for now) & WILL be at Wolverhampton Monday evening. He is 100% fit.
  6. No new incomings for Peterborough unless more finances can be found. Tungate is available but the deal needs to be financed. Tungate has been asked about his availability from another Premiership club from 1st July (not King's Lynn).
  7. You mean the honest Buster that called a meeting off because he couldn't get a replacement pitgate latch? The honest Buster that called a meeting off because he couldn't get a replacement part for the stadium lights? Public statements & honesty is not one of Buster's strong points
  8. Ask a question, the answer I got - The King's Lynn press release is not accurate. Pickering did not "ask to be released", he was told on medical grounds he needed to rest for around 8 weeks. He fully expected to remain declared & be replaced by a 28 day replacement but the club went a different way. He had no guarantee of a return to the team when fit but a space could be made available if the team required. Buster was not willing to pay his initial pay grade once Brady left.
  9. He did rerun the heat initially so should be fine, it'll now be whether Wroclaw says 'not any more', Poland rules the roost
  10. Fingers crossed Klindt & Jorgensen can maintain the uptick in form, especially at home. May be we're seeing the advantage of not pulling the 'Sacked Trigger' to early. The biggest concern now will be what Wroclaw decide to do about Laguta
  11. Wow, how blinkered is that Saying Leicester couldn't get near Laguta when he had 2 3rd places but for reruns is funny
  12. You're absolutely correct but incorrect. She went totally by the rules, 100%. That doesn't mean it was a good decision as most referees are advised that if rider's are unchallenged by an opposition rider to award heats & that happens 9/10 times.
  13. It's when the lights come on, not when the rider falls. The leading rider was on lap three, the only call to make was award the race as Laguta wasn't challenging an opponent. Very poor refereeing
  14. As daft as it may seem but that was a good result from King's Lynn. That could have ended an absolute whooping. Klindt excellent tonight.
  15. Well, that'll be Laguta's Polish club telling him he can't return to British Speedway after picking up a knock
  16. It's a partnership they're looking to exploit, capable of 5-1s & King's Lynn's weaknesses may not be able to cover off that damage. +8 from that partnership would see a win & then use the others to cover 3-3s vs Laguta. Tactically, it looks like Leicester have set up perfectly
  17. The difference being is that, Klindt & Jorgensen have been very unreliable & therefore could be beaten in heat 8 whereas the outcome is unlikely with Laguta in heat 8. At the end of the day, this is going to be a big struggle for King's Lynn regardless of where the R/R is. Heats 2,3,4 & 5 already look like 5-1s in Leicester's favour. Klindt has to maintain his form from the last 2 meetings to stand any chance in this meeting, it could be embarrassing TV.
  18. Another way to look at it is Sedgmen has barely lost a heat 8 all season away from home & Edwards not so comfortable at home, so looking to minimise the damage from that heat.
  19. Not true, rider's can return if long term injured i.e. more than 28 days. The only thing is Pickering wouldn't have been allowed back in for Kye. Clubs are also supposed to find a replacement after 28 day replacement but regularly get an extension.
  20. That's too Old Skool bruv. We need a new cancellation idea, maybe the stockcars have driven through the toilet blocks or something.
  21. Supposedly he was to return to King's Lynn but after Alex left he was asked to sign a new, lower rate contract. Pickering is getting the same deal as original King's Lynn contract at Sheffield.
  22. He wouldn't be reserve at Sheffield either.
