King's Lynn Vs Belle Vue 24th August
Daniel Smith replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Correct, but I think it's 7 days. Although it doesn't actually say that anywhere on the the 2023 regulations. What a shock Even so, he can't guest until next week -
Good job Musielak is liga 1 rider then
-
The changes required to get Museliak, Woffinden & Holder in would be a redeclaration back to 39.00 with only days left in the transfer window. Almost impossible to achieve.

Robert Lambert, play-off guest
Daniel Smith replied to szkocjasid's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Can't see any problem with this at all. Lambert would only replace existing No1s & he wouldn't really make an improvement on any team's No1s current form, maybe only Fricke?? -
Nick Morris verdict a question

Which is now alive & well, exactly as it was, at the 'Black Country Living Museum.'

Watched it on catch up & I have some serious questions. 1. How much of Polish money goes in to the series? 2. Are rider's instructed to not foul Zmarzlik? The final was shocking, it looked fixed to me. Lindgren would have 100% rode anyone else to the fence in that heat, I was absolutely stunned to see him actually move out of Zmarzlik's way. That was NOT the usual Lindgren, going for the win. What on earth is going on? Why is nobody pressurising this guy when they do it with everyone else. The whole field just lets Zmarzlik do what he wants, it's becoming a farce imo.

Bombers Pending Statement
Daniel Smith replied to KevAustin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It isn't going to be that revealing. I even doubt he'll release anything at all, was just frustrated & letting off steam. -
Vatcher's not the beat man for the u21s but for many years he's the only guy willing to do it. He's always been happy to step aside if someone better comes forward but they haven't. In terms of rider's coming through, we have absolutely nothing to offer at u21 level. After Lambert & Bewley, GBs future are in an appalling position.

Ipswich Vs Kings Lynn August 10th
Daniel Smith replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It's an extremely sad situation, for both sets of fans to be fair. These were the meetings we looked forward to when the fixtures came out. Buzzing for it. Roll on 20yrs it doesn't even feel like a derby. I know I've been moaning like a little b!+ch about King's Lynn for around 5yrs now but it's because I bloody care. Now many many more fans are finally seeing it. Our crowd levels have been evident of that. The situation at Peterborough my have opened the eyes of King's Lynn fans too with regards to our owner, could you imagine had he got Ipswich too The troubles at King's Lynn & fraudulent treatment of fans & other clubs this season in terms of dodgy call-offs & missing rider's make these fixtures meaningless. These threads should be banter central, forum fisty cuffs. It's just dead, great shame -
Peterborough Panthers 2023
Daniel Smith replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Unfortunately, British Speedway is in a position to only accept this kind of nonsense. -
Peterborough Panthers 2023
Daniel Smith replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Peterborough at King's Lynn or Leicester would be shut down mid season. The losses would be astronomical. To do that, Peterborough would have to be at NDL level. A completely delusional idea -
Peterborough Panthers 2023
Daniel Smith replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Nobody can stop Ged buying the club. The BSPL only have the right to withhold a promoters licence. He'd likely get @NeilWatson back on board as promoter (if he wants to of course) -
Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
Daniel Smith replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It looks to me like Leicester DON'T want top 4 if they're releasing Lawson too. It's already quite a drop off with the changes made imo. Worrall & Cook will need to score 14 between them a meeting to be an improvement on Harris & Batchelor, I don't see it at all. -
Peterborough Panthers 2023
Daniel Smith replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I can't believe Harris thinks it's a good move for him. He was 3rd in the averages for Leicester, now being thrown in as a No1 his average is gonna take a dramatic hit, he's nowhere near that level anymore. He's getting chewed & spat out vs other heatleaders -
Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August
Daniel Smith replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So don't miss Poole in the Premiership threads. -

Delusion. I was in that category too for far to long. Hanging on to the 80s & 90s of terrific racing & absolutely being in denial that from 2005+ the racing was more than not, abysmal. All we used to bang on about is it's smooth, no ruts, super fast, race track of the year awards etc while away fans constantly complained. Thinking back, there wasn't many conversation from us home fans about how good the racing was. We were just constantly on the defensive of our beloved "great race track". Criticism wasn't welcome at all, especially because we were winning in the 2nd tier. Now we're so so bad the realism of the whole situation has brought the racing quality to light.

I'd love to know who these nut job new fans are that'll know nothing about King's Lynn, just sign up to BSN & splash ££s for it? There is no such person. There's not one existing Speedway fan out there that doesn't know King's Lynn is a poor watch. British Speedway absolutely needs people to just say how it is on live TV. Stadia is closing, in poor condition, appalling racing etc. People's eyes in 2023 can no longer be deceived, honesty is the only way forward.
