  1. Sheffield won't finish top so have no choice. Ipswich will 100% pick Belle Vue
  2. The same big changes as last year?? The year before that one?? Oh, & the year before that, & before that etc etc. In the time King's Lynn returned to the top league in 2011 we've made the Play-Offs 3 times (I think)?? With 6-7-8 teams in it, 3 times in the Play-Offs. Joke club. Really don't know what King's Lynn fans actually expect. The management needs to understand & get it drilled in to their skull, YOU CANNOT WIN ANYTHING WITHOUT A PROPER NO1. It is that simple. The nonsense fed from management that 'strength in depth' can work is absolute kak. Obviously, 6 pointers can have anomalies, i.e. Ipswich away, but there's a reason rider's are 6 pointers. They'll also score 2s & 3s. 8+ at No1 & a 7+ at No5. If King's Lynn can't afford or attract those rider's, drop down a league.
  3. He'll soon be dialled in & up for it after discovering the line (or 2) 💳👃🏻___🤪
  4. First of all, congratulations Leicester Lions. Fully deserved with managing the draw away in the 1st Leg. Secondly, my 2 pence in on the heat 6 incident. I think the referee was absolutely correct & I'd call it the same, it's Speedway. I wish this type of riding would return more regularly, it's exciting to watch & it's been a bugbear with me that SGP riders don't do to Zmarzlik. For me, rider's need to be smarter or more brave when someone steams up the inside. Slinging a bike down the track is just an easy way out to force a decision in your favour. One of the biggest problems with Speedway today is "Racing" has become frowned upon. Letting someone pass safely seems to be 'the order of the day' these days, it's s#!t. Riding to the fence, dive bombing, handlebar banging etc should be widely encouraged. Last but not least, King's Lynn only have themselves to blame. Lawson, Harris, Harrison & Klindt did (pretty much) their job / what was expected. Kvech & let down but Iversen 😡 Question for Stars fans:- If my memory serves me well, is this the 2nd time Iversen has declare himself fit when he clearly isn't & screwed us of any chance?? I'm sure he did this a few years back turning up to a final injured after a layoff?? 3 points over both meetings deserves a sacking. 100% R/R would have done better.
  5. The makeup of the team relies on a high scoring reserve. So yes, if Klindt is poor tomorrow night, it's absolutely game over. King's Lynn needs 9 minimum from his programmed rides. With Lawson & Harris having been recent former Lions 8 minimum has to come from them. Can we get 21 from Iversen, Kvech, Nicholls, Harrison & Klindt switches?? Why not, hey?? There is hope for King's Lynn, there is capability in this side to throw an upset.
  6. If Klindt is the best rider, why do you want the 3rd best getting an extra ride in heat 15? That's basically giving up the meeting. If it is close up to heat 13, we'll need Klindt to have 2 available rides left from 3 heats, one being heat 15. To go in to heat 15 without your strongest 2 vs Fricke & partner would be absolute madness.
  7. Only chance King's Lynn have to turn this around is to sack Iversen for Robert Lambert. Other than that, Congratulations Leicester Lions
  8. They need 18 meetings to complete 75% of fixtures. They've completed 16.
  9. Great idea, season ticket holders will be getting excellent VFM, you'd fit in well on the BSPL board 🤣😬 Every club has different ways of working. As a huge critic of King's Lynn Speedway I agree with their process with (genuine 😂) threats of rain-offs. King's Lynn have 'probably' the smallest income of every Premiership clubs, in terms of sponsorship & spectators. When the weather is like it has been these last 3-4 days an early call off is preferable. The expenses of a meeting being called off to a club are not cheap.
  10. Just a recheck, it'll be a 12 that drops off his rolling average so I think a 7 may keep him just under 6. We need to keep one of our own at No6 as it's more likely to score double figures. If Cook goes at reserve we'll have the inconsistency of guests trying to double figure. That's a tough ask. The only solutions (which helps vs Leicester in the Cup Final) is we make Lawson drop points in this match or a decent replacement. What's most likely to happen?? Most importantly, what'll help us win a trophy?? This meeting is a dead rubber in the grand scheme of things. The Cup Final & finding solutions to win that are far far greater. 👍🏻
  11. King's Lynn need this meeting & for Lawson to score 4 or less otherwise Cook becomes the No6 from the 1st August.
  12. Wow, what a result. I'd go as far as to say result of the last decade. To beat that Ipswich side over 2 legs is an outstanding result. "Let's all laugh at Hawkins, Let's all laugh at Hawkins, LA LAAAA LA LA LA LAAAA LA LA." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  13. Wouldn't worry, I'd think it's tactical with both Emil & Jason lowering their numbers. If it remains 2 leagues in 2026 it'll allow a stronger team build than this season. Pretty sure TruPlant are seeing that those 2 aren't missing out
  14. 👏🏻👏🏻 That is an absolutely incredible result from a 3 man team, 42 points from them 👀 WTF 🤣🤣 Ipswich clearly turned up with the same opinion as me, King's Lynn are getting whooped. Difference is, mine is an opinion, they have a job to deliver. Would absolutely loved to have seen Hawkins face 😛
  15. When are the King's Lynn fans really going to question this club?? We cannot keep blaming Poland. Baggy has said Cook is fully committed to British Speedway. Yes, until he came to King's Lynn. Musielak - never let British Speedway down, yep, until he came to King's Lynn. In 2023 - Pickering did the same, never let anyone down until he came here. Laguta & Tarasenko too, couldn't wait to get out. Year after year after year somebody can't be a$$ed to come back. Which other Premiership teams suffers with this every single season?? The most common denominator is this club, not Poland.
  16. Why oh why would any home fans turn up for this 😳 King's Lynn 25-65 Ipswich
  17. I see you 👀 playing it down now are we 😛 Have to watch this Belle Vue lot ya-know, working the 'Matt Ford Handbook' this lot 😬
  18. There's possibly a bit of stubbornness from both the rider & King's Lynn. There is an impression that Belle Vue are sniffing if King's Lynn release him & maybe King's Lynn are digging their heals in. With the Play-Offs well a truly over, why let a rider have their own way when he's been p!$$ing them around. No skin off King's Lynn's nose for Cook not to be around now. It's a similar situation to Musielak, except that Cook is dipping in & out when he wants a wage top up.
  19. British Speedway is in far to much of a pickle to make "1 Big League" work. Even 4 man teams would be a stretch, as far to many riders won't want to be available for weekend matches. They all want to be available to the paymasters of Poland.
  20. Only days ago King's Lynn & Klindt himself said he was riding at Leicester. One thing we should have all learnt over the last decade is to never believe anything King's Lynn Speedway reports.
  21. King's Lynn will be embarrassed to not pick up the 3 points, it's an absolute must.
  22. Does it though? Not read the article but progress is not all about speed & heat times. Without stats obviously but I'd argue that engine reliability is 75% better than 40 years ago. Back in the day you'd have a couple of engines go pop a meeting, now, you'd be surprised to see one go pop in a month. Engines now are properly on a par with with 80s tuned engines straight out the box. Apart from engines, what progress is there to be had as frames / wheels etc are "improved" materials?? Bear in mind that race times are equal to or slower purely because of less material on the race surface
