  1. They edited the titles of both threads. Neither mentioned Speedway originally πŸ€ͺ
  2. Alex Ferguson - best ever Ruben Amorim - favourite right now
  3. Kind of missing the point though. Apart from Ipswich, Sheffield & Belle Vue (all have 2 very good heatleaders) most other clubs can't afford these "Star" riders in the first place. These riders just walk away if clubs can't manage their pay grade, then all we'll be doing again is diluting the product. British Speedway needs to stop pandering to the weak, allow team to sign who they want.
  4. Gradings don't & never will work. Teams with the most money will still hire the highest average rider's. The gap from top to bottom would be even bigger. If a rule is introduced with 1, 9+ rider etc the star riders will leave as Ipswich & Sheffield are the only ones that can afford the demands. Thus, yet again, a rider shortage. If anything, British Speedway next season should go more extreme imo; 5 man teams, 1 big league & remove team building averages. If Ipswich went; 1. Doyle 2. Zmarzlik 3. Sayfutdinov 4. Jespen-Jensen 5. Laguta It'll be "well done them." πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» British Speedway needs to stop pandering to the 'have nots' & try something 'very different'.
  5. Fixed it for you brev: πŸ€™πŸ» Ipswich 1. Jason Doyle - 7 (4) 2. Danny King - 7 (4) 3. Adam Ellis - 6 (4) 4. Tom Brennan - 8 (5) 5. Emil Sayfutdinov - 8 (5) 6. Dan Thompson - 0 (3) 7. Jordan Jenkins - 2 (5) Total - 38 King’s Lynn 1. Chris Harris - 8 (4) 2. R/R 3. Jan Kvech - 10 (6) 4. Richard Lawson - 8 (4) 5. Niels Kristian Iversen - 12 (5) 6. Nicolai Klindt - 10 (7) 7. Ashton Boughen - 4 (4) Total - 52
  6. Klindt will be reserve for just 1 month. Official averages are taken from & up to the 23rd of each month.
  7. Embarrassing from Janowski. Terrific from Boughen though, well done young lad πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
  8. Oxford should have brought their Championship team, would have been much less embarrassing.
  9. If King's Lynn can't beat this Oxford side, just shut the gates until 2026. It would be 100% full embarrassment. Can't see it though, King's Lynn should take it by 20+
  10. Think Discovery should bring in the 16 lapper with all the top 10 riders in it at once πŸ‘€
  11. Seems like you're stuck in 2015, rather than in the present. Musielak & Janowski are declining & Zagar is way way over the hill. These 3 are nowhere near "World Class." They can still have "World Class" moments but that's it, moments. They're absolutely no better than the 3 you compare then too, especially in England. What's the point in arguing that MJJ is better than Doyle & Sayfutdinov?? Can MJJ score 31 points a meeting for Birmingham?? The divide the the Premiership at the start of the season was huge. Sheffield losing Woffinden & their 2 changes has dragged them in now with Leicester & King's Lynn. A lose to any of the top 3 riders at Belle Vue & Ipswich will suck them down massively too. But it's absolutely certain that Birmingham & Oxford won't be close to the Play-Offs. Currently, the Premiership is this:- 1, Ipswich 2, Belle Vue 3, Sheffield 4, Leicester 5, King's Lynn 6, Oxford 7, Birmingham The gaps are that big from top to bottom, it's clear and obvious to (almost) everyone.
  12. Because of the guys battling mentality, can you see Doyley not getting mixed up in a big accident?? Seems to find him almost every year. Ipswich lose Emil or Jason, it could end their season quick sharp. Apart from Oxford & Birmingham, absolutely nobody else can be written off for the title just yet. Let's not forget, we had this same exact arrogance from Ipswich last season, how did that go??
  13. Waiting to be sacked & move to King's Lynn πŸ‘€
  14. Not sure that'll be the opinion of Cook though. Pretty sure if he wants to secure a good future in the sport he'll be "yes Mr Polish Man, what ever you say Mr Polish Man." It's just the way things are now, British Speedway no longer call the shots. If we want the big boys on our island, we'll have to continue βœŠπŸ»πŸ’¦ Mr Polish Man
  15. Get what you're both saying, the only issue is that this side doesn't have the strength in depth to run R/R. With Cook being the lowest average out of the main riding order and only being the 1 above able to take R/R (Kvech) & reserves, it'll be a dangerous tactic if (as has been happening) another in the top 5 flops. The makeup of this teams must have riders fill the top 5 spots. Guests at No6 is by far (right now) the option.
  16. The current figures are running at 6.13 for both Cook & Klindt. If it was me (if it is a choice of course), I'd put Cook at No6. If guests are required because of injury, it'll be more appealing to them with the potential of 7 rides rather than just 5 πŸ€”
  17. Fingers crossed Ben Cook isn't to badly injured. Regardless of opinion & form, nobody wants to see anyone out through injury πŸ™πŸ»
  18. I think it's absolute madness to pair Cook & Klindt together. For me, Iversen has been reasonably decent, not to have him at No2 or No5 is crazy management. Just my opinion 🀷
  19. I thought this team had enough in it to make top 4 at a bare minimum & in theory, it still should. But that is this teams absolute maximum. Absolutely getting nowhere near winning the league again. As said when the team was announced by some, you've got no chance without at least 1 genuine heatleader. Once Harris moves out of the No6 position, none of the others will deliver the same numbers as him. Without a genuine No1, can this team get win at home vs Ipswich, Sheffield & Belle Vue?? To make top 4 it absolutely has to. Results vs Birmingham, Oxford & Leicester won't be enough.
