  1. This is clearly your heart speaking. King & Ellis are almost guaranteed double figures at AFA. Absolutely no way will Lambert only get 1, especially vs Boughen, he'll probably beat Kildemand too.
  2. Not going to happen I know, but could it be possible to call off a TV meeting, have all riders secretly available. If the weather's half decent, call it back on at lunch time for a 7pm start? TNT wouldn't have time to set up = more through the gate for a bank holiday meeting. 🤔 It's the type of sneaky s#!t I'd try & pull off.
  3. Whose missing?? Will they also be missing for the evening fixtures??
  4. It might just be me, but all I'm saying is, that once a rider has completed a maximum quota of rides a Tactical Substitute shouldn't be allowed on any of said riders remaining programmed ride. If a reserve is getting 7 rides, in the main it means you're getting an advantage from their scoring prowess. Getting to use a Tactical Substitute on a remaining programmed ride that they can't participate in, It's almost the equivalent to 2 Tactical Substitutes a meeting. That's what I mean by loophole.
  5. Our away team average from the 6 riders we have is an impressive: 27.61 Good luck on Monday Stars fans 🤣😬
  6. Absolutely, yes. 100% Iversen would have done way better away from home than Harris at No6 too.
  7. How can you call Iversen "over the hill" yet want to continue with Harris 🤣 They're both 42 🤪
  8. Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. I don't see any rules broken, it's more of a question. Klindt couldn't have taken his ride in heat 14 because he'd already done 7 rides. Heat 14 would have been Boughen as reserve switch or 3 riders only. My question is; should you be allowed a Tactical Substitute for a Reserve Switch / blank gate. In my opinion, a Tactical Substitute should only be allowed on a rider's programmed ride if they're eligible to participate. Klindt wasn't eligible.
  9. I get it, I do, but there isn't a 'Rising Star' on the list that will make a significant difference to winning meetings. That's my point. 2 changes (1 being a No1) in the top 5 is far more important than replacing the No7 if you want to make a Play-Off charge.
  10. There it is - 6 pointers couldn't beat a reserve. What does that equal? Inconsistent. That's what 6 pointers are. Of course it was the heatleaders that cost King's Lynn the meeting. 11 points from a possible 28. King's Lynn scored 3 from 10 in the 2 most important heats of the meeting when it's tight, heats 13 & 15. Both teams No6s pretty much levelled out the meeting. The No1 & No5s were, without question, the difference
  11. They may do, but I don't think it'll be anyone who will make a difference. Any changes are pointless unless they find a genuine 8.00+ rider. I don't think having a pop a Boughen is fair either though by some. A replacement for him won't make significant differences to the overall scoreline. King's Lynn are way way to weak in the heatleader positions.
  12. This is what happens when you fill the team with 6 pointers. "Strength in Depth" will NEVER work vs a league with proper heatleaders in it. Without repeating myself & many others, we told you so. King's Lynn only had hope of 4th at the start of the season, that's gone now without changes because Leicester have a proper No1. King's Lynn must make 2 changes minimum. Must (somehow) find a proper No1.
  13. In tonight's fixture between King's Lynn - Sheffield, Nicolai Klindt had already completed 7 rides coming up to his programmed heat 14. I can't see anything in the regulations but, can / should you be allowed to use a Tactical Substitute on a reserve switch?? It makes no sense to allow that loop hole imo?!?
  14. Didn't someone work out that the admission difference in inflation from the 80s to today is about 2000%?? I can't remember the prices for the top league in 1988 but inflation calculator says around £9.11 vs £25 today. Was it a £10 in 1988??
  15. Answer to the question, no. When it's £60 a pop for a family of 4, the working class eliminate is lost. Speedway's biggest battle is 'middle class' pricing in 'working class' facilities.
  16. Chris is also an ex Star too. I can't see us getting close to Sheffield to be honest. I'm sticking with 40-50 Sheffield. For me, it'll be an outstanding result if King's Lynn win.
  17. So far, as warned, this King's Lynn team is pretty much dead once Harris moved up from No6 to No1. There needs to be a (obviously impossible to find) proper No1 in this team ASAP or any Play-Off hopes will be lost. Absolutely shouldn't be getting humped like this by this Leicester side, even away from home.
  18. Why would there be no GP at the National Speedway Stadium in 2026?? Isn't it the only place to host a UK round 🤔 No other stadium is suitable
  19. You changed your mind because Lambert rode hard, like his life depended on it? 🤣 Charles is 36 himself, what a whippersnapper 🤣 You'd rather a "never going to be" gets a x2 GP Wildcard? 🤣 _____________________ Those are some seriously wild takes brev 😲😵‍💫
  20. Not having that. Bewley 9/10 will back out of a fight. He's not that type to throw his bike at someone or go chasing back wheels. I'm also furious with Lambert too though. That tonight is how he should be performing in the SGP's. He's so so exciting when he's riding like his life depends on it. In the SGP's, he's too safe, riding to many curbs. I need to watch this Lambert, it's only this version that can challenge Zmarzlik.
  21. Bewley looks furious. Don't think he was impressed with Lambert’s moves. That's (proper) racing sunshine 🤪
  22. Wow, wow, wow 🫣😬 That's speedway as it should be ❤️❤️ Nothing else needs to be said
  23. They edited the titles of both threads. Neither mentioned Speedway originally 🤪
  24. Alex Ferguson - best ever Ruben Amorim - favourite right now
