  1. Anyone other better options than this for for GB? 1. Tai Woffinden 2. Robert Lambert 3. Dan Bewley 4. Charles Wright 5. Chris Harris / Danny King
  2. This is exactly the problem with British Speedway right here. Every, season it's "wait until next year". Bury head in sand, happy clap, pretend all is rosy. This is the sort of stuff that needs to stop. The ACU, SCB, BSP Ltd need to accept & take responsibility that there's a substantial problem.
  3. You keep saying that but you know that's not true though.
  4. Buster has all the power. Just have a sneaky feeling MT thinks he can see out the Showground and take over after as the club will effectively be extinct. The issue is, Buster, through spite, will hang on to the rights for Peterborough & run a National League team at King's Lynn, just to keep his promotional rights active. Tomlin will have to pay money, that's the be all & end all of this situation.
  5. Whatever the plan is for 2024 & beyond, the most certain thing is, every club whose renting has to look to purchase it's own land. It doesn't matter if it's grass banks 'bring your own deckchair' stadiums, portaloos, bring your own picnic etc. Without this, closure is coming to you, very soon. Recent ( & predicted) closures:- Swindon Robins Lakeside Hammers Coventry Bees Peterborough Panthers Wolverhampton Wolves Workington Comets Birmingham Brummies Edinburgh Monarchs Newcastle Diamonds Rye House Rockets Reading Racers Somerset Rebels Just look at the stature of those names within this sport. It's a horrid horrid look. Pretty much all these closures not because they've gone bust, but the stadium being pulled from underneath them.
  6. Any other season I really would have took serious enjoyment over a result like this but there's a much bigger picture. The WHOLE of British Speedway is in ICU, there should be no genuine fan of the sport taking any enjoyment right now. The 2023 season is effectively over for all.
  7. I don't think it'll work but not for those reasons. I can't see Peterborough fans adapting from the fast Showground racing to Wolverhampton trick track, going in reverse racing week in week out. It's a dead idea from the start
  8. So a team cannot reintroduce an injured rider if the 28 day rider takes the team average above 39.00 after greensheets then
  9. It has to be a 28 day ban for Pedersen otherwise R/R isn't an available option.
  10. It has to be a facility, otherwise the injured rider wouldn't be allowed to come back in with a higher average after Greensheet changes. If Wolves team average went to 39.01 they'd still be allowed to reintroduce Becker after 28 days. Even though it doesn't appear in the regulations as a facility (which it should), it is a facility for the above reasons. This is one of those situations that Phil Morris needs to get ahold of quickly. As again, 'Individual Interpretation' rather than 'Matter of Fact' is the norm. The whole rule book needs hard & fast rules, the problem is, the whole rule book is is "at the discretion of the SCB / BSP LTD Directors". This alone means the rule book is worthless. Speedway needs 'Hard & Fast' rules, only at the discretion of Phil Morris & nobody else. Once an anomaly arises Phil Morris decides & automatically updates to the rule book to remove 'Interpretation'.
  11. Nicholls is on a 28 day facility. You cannot have a facility for a facility. If the 28 day rider gets injured at any point the team reverts back to the original declaration.
  12. Has to be that way for last nights meeting, reverting back to initial declaration due to Nicholls not turning a wheel for Wolverhampton, even though Becker hadn't either. It's due to Nicholls inclusion only being a 28 day facility.
  13. The list is inaccurate as it's also showing Troy Batchelor
  14. You just can't make this s#!t up. Pedersen & Worrall - Buster's a disgrace. Lindgren & Tungate - Billy Bigbollox is a hero. Which one is it because it can't be both? If Buster signed Pedersen & Worrall, he's also the one to sign Lindgren & Tungate. He's the 'Yes' 'No' man ya know Peterborough fans are so funny
  15. FYI, Nicholls doesn't receive the 2.5% as he's never participated in the 3rd tier
  16. Brady is more than capable, the restrictions for him to prove his worth are clearly financial. It's also why I believe Rob Lyon is one of, if not the best in the business. The thing with Adams, Middleditch & Rossiter, they'd always been financed by a 'Sugar Daddy'. The financial support for Adams from Van Straaten has fallen off a cliff. Best team managers currently in the Premiership are Lyon & Stead by a clear distance
  17. Point the finger at the potential owner then to get his finger out if you want Buster gone. It's really not difficult.
  18. Do you & all fans still want to be the "Peterborough Panthers"? The price is irrelevant, to remain as the "Panthers" you have to give Buster what he wants. There's no if, buts or maybes. He can maintain that licence for 10yrs if he wishes until it's paid for. MT can find a new track after the Showground closes but you cannot be called "Peterborough Panthers". Buster can also challenge the opening of a new track while he holds the licence for the town of Peterborough. You may have to go outside the City & be something like March Monsters or something.
  19. He is, but he's not better than Worrall who you want him in for. I find the dislike towards Worrall odd from the Panthers fans.
  20. It's worth everything TO THE FANS unless you're quite happy to move wait until the Showground closes then be called "The Pansies of Peterborough" or something. "Peterborough Panthers", wherever it goes, has to be paid for and Buster owns it.
