  1. Maybe. 100% for a tv spectacle, every fan wants an NSS v EoES final. Best tracks in this country providing the weather plays ball.
  2. To be fair, many Belle Vue fans have said the racing hasn't been great this season compared to past seasons.
  3. I would say sad time for King's Lynn, but here's the thing. If they continue with the proposed 2 'Rising Stars' the team building will have to come down to about 32.00, maybe as little as 30.00. That may throw up a bit of chaos with the other teams, King's Lynn certainly won't be as bad again. This current 7 is a lot more solid than the season starting 7 too.
  4. Or anyone from the Championship that doesn't have a Premiership team place. It won't happen obviously but it's also available.
  5. I honestly don't understand the Woffy bashing. He's still way clear of Bewley & Lambert. Madness to suggest otherwise. Absolutely loved Bewley's 'Wall of Death'. Brilliant
  6. The strength of the Prem isn't really an issue. The main issue is the strength of the Champ. The gap isn't wide enough. The conversion rate needs to be back at 2+- rather than the 1.5. There needs to be a significant increase in top league fixtures too, 10 home matches doesn't cut it. Need other teams to come up & 15/20 home fixtures. Add in a 4 team tournament, ko cup etc etc. Something has to be done next year, I don't think these 'Rising Stars' add anything to the Premiership
  7. And some want Cook back next season. Like I said, he cannot be trusted
  8. I don't see the fuss. After the latest result Peterborough had v Sheffield I always thought Peterborough was picking Wolves with the 2nd leg at home. It makes sense to me anyway. Peterborough should put away Wolves, Belle Vue will hammer Sheffield. Peterborough v Belle Vue, the best final in years for me. The best 2 tracks in the country going head to head, potentially away wins at both tracks, who wouldn't want that as a season finale
  9. He's had a great season but it would be a disaster to take him on his average
  10. Only 4 should remain for me, maybe Kasper too?? 1. 8.00ish 2. K.Andersen 4.40ish 3. T.Jorgensen 6.50ish 4. L.Kerr 5.40ish 5. R.Lawson 7.40ish 6. 3.30ish 7. C.Mountain r/s Ave:23.70ish Remaining: 11.30ish Will be tough work to find a suitable pairing to fill those averages with other Prem clubs unlikely to want to chop & change, especially Peterborough, Belle Vue, Wolverhampton. Let's be real, no stupid suggestions like Lambert, Woffinden, Zmarzlik. Pretty much right off any rider from the Swedish Elitserien & Polish Exstraliga coming to King's Lynn. Edit: with the top teams averages hitting around 38, will there be a need to increase from 35.50??
  11. There's never been loyalty in Speedway. You may get 1 or 2 rider's over a long period but you can't seriously be suggesting you'd want all 7 of this years team back? Cook's a no from me. As a sufferer of serious mental health myself he's unreliable.
  12. Terrible refereeing, no way Doyle should have gone for that
  13. More like it from Lambert so far. 4 from 2. Fingers crossed, he need big points tonight
  14. Barker could be a solid No2 tbf. His inclusion has also improved us home & away. The big calls are finding a genuine No1, and the strength of the 'Rising Star' is massive. Get these wrong again & it's bottom of the table again.
  15. Lawson, Jorgensen & Kerr deserve to stay on. They've not been the problem.
  16. Fully understand where you're coming from. Lambert has been good in Poland & also the few meetings he's had in Sweden. In Poland though, as the No8, Lambert has been given easier heats & ideal partners to try & get maximum points. The crunch will be when he's in the 1-5, will he cut it? With regards to Championship level he has been abysmal. Was so desperate for him to kick on this year but it just hasn't worked. He's just so far off the pace. I'll repeat what I said a few years ago, & I stand by it. Robert Lambert for me will just be another Chris Harris. Never has what it takes at World level. Simon Stead also has hinted at Dan Bewley being the likely partner to Woffinden at the SON.
  17. Sheikh Mansour is selling up Manchester City to take over King's Lynn Speedway. You heard it here first
  18. His average might help keep him at King's Lynn I just feel Lawson after the season he's had would more than likely want to find a more competitive club. Lawson, Jorgensen & Kerr are the only 3 that justify a return, but you just know Dale will be back on the phone picking his mates again
