  1. That's not in question, the issue is it's expected Iversen won't feature with his return to SGP and other commitments, plus he no longer lives in the UK. If the team as most are predicting 1. R.Lambert 8.90 2. M.Palm-Toft 5.36 3. T.Jorgensen 6.05 4. E.Riss 6.08 5. T.Proctor 6.67 6. L.Kerr 5.36 7. K.Andersen 4.00 Ave: 42.42 That team is just absolutely awful
  2. Lambert's 8.90 so the team being built over a point under the limit would be ridiculous
  3. The fact he participated in both leagues last season will allow it. He'll just have less meetings to complete for a rolling average at both Sheffield and King's Lynn.
  4. Much prefer that team. I do like Greaves and will better his starting average and much prefer that Iversen is there as backup to Lambert. I do think Palm-Toft has been remembered more for his massive score at reserve rather than for his performances through the season in the top 5. That's where he'd be on his current average. I don't think he's good enough. Kasper can only be better than last year so worth the risk on a 4.00. Without Iversen or another as heatleader backup the team has no strength in depth as most of the team will only match or lower their current averages.
  5. You think the predicted Stars team can win the title v already announced teams??
  6. Nothing wrong with that, just wish my own club was a bit more ruthless rather than a love-in with the rider's.
  7. 7.68 average in the Polish 3rd tier is not a lot to shout about.
  8. I know it's only on paper but I don't think there's anything in this team to class them as title contenders. Wolverhampton and Swindon look better and Peterborough's 4 look stronger than Belle Vue's top 4 imo.
  9. Should imagine that your No1 will come from the 2nd tier in Poland. Can't imagine any Ekstraliga rider's agreeing to come over.
  10. This is supposed to be as good as the current crop of GM's but PJR is going down the route of extended service life. Along the lines of the new Goddan and Gerhard. That's what I understand anyway. We'll just have to wait and see.
  11. Cook has shown he doesn't have the capability to be a good International rider either. Unwanted in Sweden and Denmark and is also an absolute failure in the 2nd tier in Poland. Cook is a good rider in the UK and would do a good job for any Premiership / Championship club, that is his level. International standard Craig Cook has shown himself to NOT be.
  12. Multiply and divide is far more simple as all averages are automatically rounded up/down. Championship > Premiership ÷1.5 Premiership > Championship ×1.5 7.53 ÷ 1.5 = 5.02 7.53 × 0.66666666 = 5.0199999498 Why bother faffing with the x/÷ 0.66666 nonsense???
  13. Just relaying information. There are people with their ears much closer to the ground so am asking for confirmation? It's very important for the club if it is Lambert.
  14. Can someone find out if an important rider has refused to sign a deal because they refuse to have the BT Sports logo on the handlebars over their own sponsor? Apparently the team selection is in disarray and the only important rider I can see is Robert Lambert. This would be seriously bad news
  15. King's Lynn track of the year?? Who the f' voted for that
  16. That's the thing, they're not split. Only Wolverhampton are confirmed Monday's. King's Lynn, Peterborough, Ipswich, Poole, Belle Vue and Swindon have chosen Thursday. The Thursday clubs have occasional Monday meetings
  17. And that team is nothing short of abysmal compared to other predicted line-ups.
  18. I understand that, but he's responsible for the funding of these teams and has to be consulted. Thus meaning he is fully in the knowledge that his own club could be in a weaker position team wise. No doubt King's Lynn are going back down the route again of being to nice to rider's, rather than putting together a team of the best rider's available. Loyalty will not give you entertainment or trophies. For me, Robert, Erik, Ty are all that should remain from 2018, the rest I can't see improvement in their averages.
  19. A very good looking side being put together at the showground Certainly will be a very entertaining season at Peterborough in 2019, fingers crossed that some promoting in the local area is done and the crowds turn up as it looks to be a team well worth backing. Exciting for the Panthers - depressing for the Stars Panthers fans, you must be delighted so far??
  20. With the team Peterborough are putting together I'd be concerned as a Stars fan. If we go with a similar team to last year less Iversen we'll be in serious trouble. The 2019 team needs to pull a rabbit out the hat to partner Robert. Buster builds a better team at a rival club will not go down well.
  21. Definitely 100% is. King's Lynn wasn't allowed to sign Schlein unless we bought him at the time from Coventry.
  22. I think that's a better team than the one that finish 2018. Play-Off contender easily.
  23. 1. R.Lambert 8.90 2. M.Palm-Toft 5.36 3. S.Worrall 6.16 4. R.Worrall 5.46 5. C.Cook 7.54 6. J.Auty 4.60 7. K.Andersen 4.00 Ave 42.02
  24. More like it, just unsure if the club or the fans would welcome Bjerre back as he does go missing in important rides.
