  2. More like it, just unsure if the club or the fans would welcome Bjerre back as he does go missing in important rides.
  3. Heeps is a seriously overrated Aussie. Would be a poor signing for anyone in the Premiership.
  4. I don't think that'll be the case. If Ford wants £250,000 for his club he needs to make sure the attendances are high and the team is successful. Struggling crowds will see the club valuation to a 3rd of his asking price. In reality, that's probably the real price of Poole anyway, Ford has seriously over valued the club.
  5. When you consider some of the other teams so far, going with 1 heatleader will be a disaster
  6. It would but stranger things have happened in the world of Speedway
  7. Depends how you understand what Louis has said. Schlein was at Wolves last season but King's Lynn is his club as an asset.
  8. It's Hampel and there's absolutely no chance of that happening.
  9. I think they'll be no Brits this year, Mark Lemon will put a Team Aus together so Brits don't get much track time for SON/SWC's in future at GREAT BRITAIN'S NATIONAL SPEEDWAY STADIUM.
  10. Can't see Cook at Peterborough, 3 rider's on 7.50+ averages would leave a poor rest of the team
  11. It won't be the end of the season, it'll be before 1st August that Covatti gets binned for a more established rider. It's the Poole way.
  12. Poole sticking to their ethos of British rider's are s#!+€ still then I guess??
  13. No rider's should be made to ride where they don't want to be. Already puts said rider's attitude on the back foot, no good for team.
  14. Ulrich has tweeted: So I'd take that as ruled out of 2019 plans
  15. So it's clear as mud now, Buster fully in control. None of this business as usual nonsense that Louis said. Buster holds the purse strings so he rightly has to have the final say on who comes in and how much for. I don't think the way he works will sit to well with the original Ipswich management.
  16. Nick Morris is an Australian international. His allegiances have been assigned and can no longer qualify as a duel national.
  17. Of course he hasn't, but he doesn't treat fans of clubs the correct way. If these fans walk away he'll financially be in the cow poop. Peterborough and Ipswich fans may flock to the first couple of meetings but if things ain't as the fans like they'll be no more. It's how it is, Speedway needs to start delivering on Value For Money.
  18. Weak as f. 1 heatleader, 3 2nd string, 3 reserves. Must have 2 heatleaders in a team minimum.
  19. I think you're getting upset for being ripped to pieces. What you're suggesting IS blackmail and comes under the bracket of modern slavery. When such conditions like yours are put in place at the expiration of a contract, it is blackmail. Those same conditions comes under the modern slavery act for being forced to work against your will. Being forced to ride for the same team even though you don't want to be there is illegal. It's also illegal to suggest that if a contract isn't signed a rider should be suspended while out of contracted employment. Stop getting defensive and draw a line in the sand, that what you suggest isn't possible and move on.
  20. So which bit of "you sign this contract or you're banned for a year" is not blackmailing??
  21. There already is a window until 1st January. But rider's cannot legally be forced into contracts they don't want, that's totally against slavery laws. It should always remain rider choice where they want to be. If rider's want to move on because of better pay or they feel more wanted then so be it. If Morris is offered £100 per point and Poole offer £200 why shouldn't he be allowed to move?? If there's companies out there offering you better wages you move on, it's as simple as that to be honest.
  22. That's the thing, the rules are there to cut doubling up but they've been ignored and just continued with using existing Championship averages. Don't understand why you'd create such a conversion rate, which increases year on year but allow rider's to maintain existing averages, it just doesn't make any sense at all.
