  1. If that’s the case I’d have said bye bye if I was Buster - thought we was only signing riders with the right attitude? that’s gone out the window then - a fully committed 1-7 is what’s needed surely
  2. I agree totally let’s hope Iversen signs
  3. Put all your eggs in one basket and it doesn’t come off then what ? I’m sure we have a plan B though as always
  4. If Iversen doesn’t or isn’t able to sign we are seriously in the deep brown stuff .
  5. Hope the track been sorted over the winter or there could be trouble ahead with Holder signing
  6. I’d say 8.00 isn’t over 8.00 or the rule would be 7.99 surely but this is British Speedeway so any thing is possible
  7. We need an inspirational signing to get me interested again and Nicki would certainly do that .
  8. Ritchie Worrall is another rider I think will be back he definitely unfinished business at the club he had without doubt his best season at KL .
  9. Lets be honest no one could do much worse than the last few season on the media front . Fingers crossed this is the beginning of a new dawn .
  10. Next week my guess Kasper Andersen and Lewis Kerr will be announced
  11. Let’s hope so - that would be a dream signing
  12. Hardly news worst kept secret in speedway- I welcome Robin and wish him luck - let’s hope this is a new dawn for me keeping fans informed on news on and off the track better presentation of meetings - keeping the meetings flowing rather than endless laps with the tractors definitely more urgency on that . And of course track prep get the track back to how it used to be using proper red shale rather than soil with a few stones in it . Massive task and Buster could be the biggest problem as others have found but I wish Robin luck
  13. Top post - it is amazing how times change in such a sort space of time when we returned to the Elite League as it was then we never missed a meeting at home and winning the league in my mind was top priority now I’ve got to the point not that I’m not bothered if I attend meetings or not in fact from World Cup onwards we never attended another meeting at KL we did other things and to be honest never missed going at all and at this point in the winter I’m normally can’t wait for March to arrive but I’m not excited or even looking forward to the season - it’s all well and good as the promotion has said all will be revealed in January but they have a lot to do to wn my attendance back and so far they’ve done absolutely nothing on that all I can see is they’ve wasted time by not trying on working on putting things right . Hopefully they have things in place to convince fans that walked away in the second half of last season it’s worth returning . We shall see
  14. You most definitely do have tunnel vision - I admire your dedication to the club I cannot fault you on that but just sometime even you must leave the stadium and doubt your dedication.to the club .
  15. The press conference great idea love it if racing started 7-30 prompt I’d definitely be there but I’m sure as eggs are eggs ain’t going to a press conference at gone 10pm when I’ve to be up early for work the next morning I’ve no interest in that what so ever . So get the racing started at 7-30 show a bit of urgency to keep the meeting moving rather than endless laps with the tractor and more would attend meetings and attend press conference it’s thats simple .
  16. Thing also to remember the stadiums main business is Stock Cars not speedway - it’s a stock car stadium that happen to run speedway as well , I’ve several stock car friends and they all say about Lynn what we used to say about speedway best track in the country .
  17. Ha ha but I doubt we need the club to tell us - do you ?
  18. One way to look at it is various names have been linked with the club we can now rule some of the ones linked out as they won’t be coming as they’ve signed for rival clubs - once Belle Vue and Poole complete there side it will become even more clearer who’s coming by the time the fans meeting comes round the 1-7 will be more or less known i think .
  19. Well it is another gone by the wayside- but absolutely positive move by Somerset to sign the World Champion we all should be pleased Doyle is racing in the uk
  20. How on earth is that doom and gloom ??? Well done Somerset for signing the World Champion good to see a promotion with some ambition to better its self - absolutely positive move for the whole league and speedway in general in the UK if that’s doom and gloom you are very deluded .
  21. Jason Doyle Somerset no1 that’s another one gone by the wayside
  22. No thank you - can be brilliant on his day but also he can be very ordinary with can’t be arsed attitude especially in a week leading up to a GP .
  23. No Chris Harris then he’s signed for Rye House - looks more and more likely all our eggs are in the Iversen Lambert basket if either or both say thank you but no thank you we are in the deep brown stuff -one thing about naming the team in January it becomes very easy to rule names out - I really hope Buster has an ace up his sleeve or 2018 could be a very long and difficult season .
  24. Then you will understand exactly were I’m coming from - some have there heads in the sand there is a wide gap in finances the way I see it ok a new co promoter Robin Brundle may bring new sponsors and cash into the club hopefully he will - but with no tv or a clearly reduced tv contract is going to have a massive effect on all clubs in the Premiership- call me negative or whatever I think I’m being realistic.
