A speedway rider is totally different to someone who has rode a speedway bike!!! I had a bike in my youth, would I class myself as an ex speedway rider, don't be daft. If Robert72 s comments are the truth then I was way worse than him. Scared the life out of me and im still road biking nearly 40 years on!!

Was going to go to this,would have been my first el meeting and first trip in a long time to monmore to watch the wolves. Unfortunately apathy set in and I couldn't be bothered. 18 pound for speedway or fill the bike up tomorrow and go for a ride, no contest. Shame really but enthusiasm for speedway seems to be wilting especially after Stoke Saturday (even though the track was unfit I suppose) and Leicester which didn't affect me. Just couldn't be bothered

when I went to Glasgow a few weeks ago I couldn't believe how up for it the crowd were, everything seemed positive. I didn't think the racing last night was fantastic but because of the crowd reaction and the feel good factor it was still a cracking night out id have thought
