  1. Proper thumping for the Scunny that,Ipswich were on it from the off and rode brilliantly, and Scunny ,with the excepetion of JG were total garbage to be be frank after his first race id have given Campton £20 and pointed him towards the A1,he was shocking But,,,,,,,,take a bow Drew Kemp, what a performance that was,and to be honest i think it the age limit for this league needs to be looked at as to me it seems a bit stupid that a talent like that has only just started in our league due to not being 16,the lad is more than good enough and feel Ipswich should have be able to use him all season.a full seaon at 15 under Chris Louis would have benefited him more that the NL maybe the age limit needs to be looked at over the winter to get lads like Drew riding ,,,, food for thought hope the injury to SW isnt to serious
  2. how is not being able to get guests for various reasons throwing in the towel, from what ive heard Ipo have tried almost everyone with no luck at all more bad luck than throwing the towel in
  3. popped over last night for this meeting a fear the worst when i walk in to see about 100 folk kicking the track!!! well done to all for getting the meeting on,was a good meeting and track was good, maybe could have started 30 mins earlier looking how the track quickly dried out and how it rode fair play to Sheff for a battling display afte recent results,i was impressed by the Danish lad, could turn out a fine rider him felt the visitors missed a trick in heat 15 though not using Riss or Pickering
  4. previous meeting between these 2 have thrown up some tip top meetings, including some handbags so as you say speedway heaven two good Guests too
  5. looking at Nicholls score he should be more worried about his own performance rather than his team mate trying to win a race
  6. how is putting the leagues best riders in a competion not a good thing? seems folk just like to pick fault with speedway these days when infact its a bloody great sport
  7. Typical, what loks like a strong, wide open field that will be staged in excellent stadium for the event and could be a great day out and already folk picking fault ffs
  8. The mighty Bandits will take some beating over a 2 legged playoff Fair play to them
  9. if hes knackered riding one meeting a week,cleaning/prepping one bike and living at the track he wouldnt like the real world much at all Massive well done to Berwick last night, got their noses in front early doors and thanks to a fab performance from the reserves kept in front Another super nights entertainment at the EWR,just wish i was a neutral then i wouldnt be pissed off!!
  10. the T20 cricket is an interesting thing, the way that has turned cricket around in amazing, and it really is a good night out think it help also that at the business end of the match most of the crowd are pissed up tho!
  11. our of interest, who would you have chosen to guest instead of Campton?
  12. did the Sheffield promotion not invest quite a bit in JPB then he quit on them?
  13. for sure a wining team does click the turn styles a few more time, but i do wonder if the extra clicks actually cover the cost of a winning team interesting point about the track not being same each week, is that a good thing or a bad thing? i guess as long as its raceable and provides entertainment its ok Track curators seem to try and produce a track that suits the riders of the hme team,i often wonder if that is right for the paying spectators i must say that my visit to the show ground last month the track was perfect for what i consider good speedway and the quality meeting represented that,it really was in tip top condition, but then during a rider interview the said rider commented that the track was a bit ``iffy`` ........
  14. i hate to say it but......despite what a good product it is ,is it enough, it really is a tough one
  15. 100% correct but my point is im really not sure what more they can do that what has been provided in the meetings i previously mentioned Good tracks, good racing, decent presentation, close exciting results, with good friends and a few beers im not really sure what else they can do...answers on a postcard i guess
  16. no they didnt, and thats my point,im not sure what more they [BSPA/CLUBS] can do as they were meetings that were top draw One interesting point was i spoke to a chap at Peterbourgh and he was last of a group of 4 who attended the show ground together,,i ask why this was as i thought it was great,i sat in comfort, great view of the racing, racing was good, track was mint, presentaion was good --what more do thay want i asked they not allowed to stand up at the back of the main stand anymore which they loved to do was was his reply
  17. are you blaming them for lack of shale on tracks? The last few meetings i have seen Redcar v Scunthorpe--super race track and well prepped, some excellent racing Peterbourgh V Scunthorpe-- mega hot day and evening, brilliant race track, billiantly prepared, great racing and a close score,it was excellent speedway Scunthorpe v Glasgow -- mega hot day, great racing an even ,fair race track, last heat decider outstanding meeting put on on by both teams Sheff V Scunthorpe --smooth and consistant race race, all riders prepared to have a good, good crowd and a good meeting then you look at both the main leagues, the race for the play offs is wide open in both, impossible to call and the teams that can make the play offs are evenly matched, an exciting finish to the season ahead in both leagues yes we still have doom and gloom, i dont understand it really
  18. Is a question just an opinion?? are you suggesting that due the above mentioned, teams are knocking Scunthopre riders off? if you are that i think is one of the most stupid posts ive ever read i dont for a minute believe any rider in either league would be ``forcefull`` just because of Scunthorpe riders earn money by scoring points and race hard, accidents happen
  19. Whats the reason you not re-newing your season ticket? fallen out with speedway or dont like loosing at home?
  20. Steve W won heat 13 too!! Interesting to read that the CL`s lesser Tigers were poor tonight, maybe Scunny were quite good?? Carvery was not to bad either
  21. Never mind having the best tractors in British Speedway from their sponsors... Maybe they should ask them if they have a slurry tanker to
  22. Are really really top speedway meeting yesterday,in what i think was the hottest temp ive ever watched a meeting fair play to Glasgow for having a proper go,Cook was outstanding How the hell does Josh Pickering have an average of under 5,what a racer he is
