King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Bagpuss replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I mean each to their own.....I actually found it quite interesting and I'm pretty sure he's not the first rider I've heard talk about cold conditions being a challenge. Generally speaking he's a great podcast guest as he is very articulate and knowledgeable about the sport. -
I appreciate you are a parody/wind up/Lord knows what but it really wasn't.
-
Unfortunately not.
-
Dirt and grip. Or more than the BV meeting anyway.
-
I'll take any sort of win at the moment, especially having raced just once at home and that being three weeks ago.
-
King's Lynn desperately need a win to get their season up and running but this suddenly looks like a tough task after Birmingham raced to their first win last night and by the look of things will have Milik at reserve upon the averages changing. Forecast looks very good so the track needs to be exactly as the home riders want it. I predict 46-44.

Well done Brummies, well deserved.
-
Drama!
-
My expectations were low after the reports on here of the first home meetings but this has been very enjoyable, Brum has always been a decent race track. The Brummies have showed plenty of fight, effort and determination but ultimately are probably going to fall short in heat 15 against BV's top end power.

I believe it was his Polish club who recommended that he stop riding over here. -
A short term replacement for Kerr I'd have thought if it's true.

I'd say Lynn weren't blessed with loads of choice, but Klindt is a very different rider to KK as his scores last year bear out. Feel we still need another signing though to use up the remaining points and strengthen up the top five. -
Workington v Scunthorpe 28/04/24 BSN 3:30pm.

Worky are developing into a decent side, they are getting a much better tune out of Batch than anyone expected and it's pleasing to see both reserves win a race today. Probably a bit early to pile in on Scunny too hard but they need to improve, it's not been a good weekend for them. You'd expect them to comfortably beat both Berwick and Worky at home though, although aggregate wins will be a big ask. -

You don't think its worthwhile watching at Scunny, Glasgow, Redcar or Workington? -

Scunny are going to have a job on pulling that back bit I wouldnt rule them out. Good to see Kemp has found somewhere that he can produce consistently, perhaps he is finally about to realise his potential. -

Imperative that we follow that up with a win next Thursday. -

Well that was much more encouraging. -
Yep been said that his engines have been too strong. Should be on fresh kit tonight apparently.

I can't imagine the UK being on his radar until the Polish league starts to wind down. Which is a pity as he would transform the side. -

I wouldn't get too wrapped up in averages after just two or three meetings but you are right, if there are points available then we need to be ruthless and use them, will be tough on whoever gets the heave ho but we need to win meetings -
