Looking at the British U19 from this year and excluding Foord who I think will be too old the top six were Harrison, Scott, Rushen, Cairns, Pjiper and Loftus. Assuming of course they are young enough at whatever the cut off point is.

If Worky was his home track he'd be a completely different rider to last year IMO.

He was quite clearly dropping his average last season.....will be interesting to see where he ends up

You keep saying this but it's simply not true, he's said himself he enjoys the track and it's always different when you are riding a circuit regularly as a home rider rather than an occasional visitor.

I don't think it really matters anyway as long as you've got the correct blend of riders.

Not really sure why, that'd be as good a heat leader trio as anyone due to the 8 pointer rule and two amazing prospects at reserve, get the second strings right and it'd be the team to beat once again.

Well done Redcar, didn't see that coming at all. Jody really has developed nicely this season, really pleasing as a Lynn fan and fellow Norfolker.

Some interesting comments from Buster at the Lynn awards evening last night, when asked about league structures he suggested that the top division will remain but it would take a few promoters putting some money in each to make it happen. Whether that means to replace TV money or to get Northampton off the ground who knows.

Who are these 'weaker teams'? Brum & Ox are gone and Lynn didn't want a lower limit this year so almost certainly won't for 2026.

I'd say if they can get the reserves right to add to the kind of top five they’ve had the last couple of years then they have every chance in 2026.

Fair enough, I think we have crossed wires slightly here. I don't disagree with a lot of what you've said, my original point was about getting top riders to come to Lynn who aren't over here already. In that regard it's not about money but rather their desire to come over. I can't ever see Buster outbidding Ipswich for Doyle or BV for Bewley for example and in that regard I suspect we are a 'have not'. I have no issue with that at all, but it does grate when he is accused of being a skinflint etc (not by you) when he puts a fair old whack into a club which doesnt have the biggest crowds (although they have improved this year). All that said I'd love him to offer Fricke more than Leicester 😁

Can see Kvech, Harris, Klindt and Cook returning. Lambert and Rushen would be great, maybe Jody if Rushen doesnt want Prem yet. Then somebody fresh and exciting from the SGP2 stable at 6. If no Lambert as is likely then probably a solid team again, however the departure of Lawson suggests something might be in the pipeline at number one.
