Well I've heard that BV are offering silly money to Coops. Who knows. Could be rubbish but holds about as much water as anything else written on here I guess.

I'm sure they'll start where they want, not where you think they should. Quite clear that the Premiership needs more clubs to get a TV deal and grow, and that there are people willing to help new/returning clubs get up and running for the good of the sport and in the absence of clubs being willing to step up.

Luckily there are proactive people trying reopen tracks, grow the sport and get it back on telly to counteract negative Nigels like yourself.

Doubling up/down should be for young Brits to develop, not for journeymen to top up their pensions. Just like guests its got completely out of hand. Many supporters want their team to have its own identity which means riders who aren't popping up elsewhere in the UK on any given night.

Most probably. Essentially Poole offered them the best deal once other clubs had provided an NDL platform for them prior to turning 16. They could have signed for anybody in the Champs in order to be 'brought on'. Really poor rhis meeting hasn't been / isn't being run.

Thats a pretty poor statement from Doyle, hes either intentionally or unintentionally annoyed a lot of Ipswich fans by saying that. Can't believe he didnt enjoy winning the league last season so presumably means enjoying 2026 again but should have worded it better.

I get that and as a competition the Premiership needs a massive overhaul but I really don't think the season itself has been any worse than the last two or three , although I accept the bar is a low one. We desperately need new teams and riders, less guests, less doubling up and a better fixture list. And for promoters to follow Mr Coleman. In the meantime congrats to Belle Vue, this title doesnt and shouldn't feel any different to any others.

I'm not sure the season has been that bad or certainly not in comparison to other recent ones, sure one team has dominated and I appreciate all the jeopardy in the Play Offs was absent but there's been a lot of hyperbole on here not really warranted. Of course we desperately need a couple more sides and an injection of fresh, interesting new riders but thats been the case for several years. As always we live in hope for next season so fingers and toes crossed.

Would they have kept them anyway seeing as Western & Griffin enticed Rickardsson and nearly did the same with Louis? 💰

IF there was ever a way back for him into professional speedway I'd have thought it'd have required some serious contrition followed by a sustained period of impeccable behaviour. Which of course hasn't happened. So I suspect that's that.

The risk would be one of the reserves getting injured in heat 2 and the other reserve then having six rides to cover plus their own three - cant be done. Safety first approach is to go with a guest which is entirely sensible.
