  1. to be correct theo was released a few days before tj was mentioned so realisticly tj filled a empty place
  2. hearing lots of different people getting blame for big gaps in fixture list yes atadium might not be available all the time but the only people to blame are the 1 or ones who put the fixture list together how many teams have meetings nearly every week and how many have big gaps then work out whos connected to clubs with no gaps and who is also involved with the fixture list draft
  3. not that id think Edinburgh would help us out but you never know they might just have a off night and be pleased Workington went through rather than there near rivals
  4. hoggy you are 1 off the few good men in the sport and its a pleasure to have you at Workington if only you could be more involved and help save this sport in cumbria
  5. this is normal in speedway though aint it rumours regarding getting paid on time also with so many away meetings and none at home then where does the money come from to pay them out of the owners own pocket again we couldn't go too long without getting paid from our day jobs could we I was told years ago the team captin signed a document at meetings stating all was well don't know if this is true or not but suerly that's the place to state if there not getting paid also theres a few riders who know how to play the game "were not getting paid " then a sponsor/fan slips them a little to help them out ive seen it all before
  6. kyle was always going to find it hard at first its not him that's letting the side down theres 2 heat leaders that arnt interested
  7. unless the riders that don't want to go through are dropped or motivated Glasgow are safe and sound
  8. I thought Glasgow was the place to get in for free well looks like some Workington riders tried hard to let Glasgow take the win but a draw was all they could manage track wasn't good tonight but a couple of riders gave it a go while others spent more time looking over there shoulder making sure they left room on the right side to be passed
  9. craig cook is gp rider so unless he rides for Workington he cant ride championship only reason he code ride for Workington is that he rode for them when he qualified for gp also the over 6 point rule was only for riders who didn't ride in the championship wasn't it so josh could drop down
  10. don't know if its true or not but no rider should be forced to ride a track there not happy with a good few years ago a lad I know was a good tt rider making a name for himself and wasn't happy with the handling of the old gsxr he talked to someone who advised him to start and pull in down the road to secure his start money he said no don't want to let team down he rode but ended up receiving injuries that would end his racing
  11. but hes a great guest when on good guest money ask 2017 Glasgow team/fans when he was getting deliberately disqualified while riding for Workington
  12. you tell me that's what I was trying to find out but cant see anything anywhere
  13. been told holder and syfudinof are both out but cant find anything to confirm this
  14. well you know both bmw and Vauxhalls will give you trouble and cost money in repair bills but bmw will cost a lot more in parts and labour just so your ego can be bigger
  15. hes got his deal maybe needs a good guest booking fee to start scoring well again just aslong as its not in a comets bib
  16. jenga in his old age has probably taken Wilson deans twitter post saying goodbye as his contract is up rather than hes rode his last ride
  17. I sort of agree weve cancelled meetings at home before so other clubs can accomadate missing riders so don't see any difference here
  18. Strange situation for the comets Very rare to have to this big a dilemma over keeping a temp reserve
  19. personaly I think it will take more than just winning team but a winning team will help success brings joy and happiness to all involved so some of the bitterness on both sides might just be forgotten
  20. mason can guest for other teams when hes in the line up so that would sugest hes not on a sponsored visa so should be able to sign for another team would be unlucky to see him loose his place but if the team looks far stronger its gotta be considered also weve seen a few times mason not the best team rider can often race his team mate too much and hamper the team scores to gain his own points
  21. typical from Glasgow fans along with paulco most Glasgow fans give accurate views and praise unlike the panthers that couldn't praise what looks like a good comets TEAM performance they just slated there own team maybe Workington were just too good for them on the night rather than panthers were poor Glasgow reports are sort of saying Workington were just too good on the day along with a few problems for there own riders
  22. happens all the time riders guest for others and score good points but ride for there own team and just break the tapes now you know how Workington fans felt last year when sarj put big points in for Glasgow while dropping his average at Workington
  23. well are Workington showing on there day there a threat to most home or away too early to say but 2 very convincing away victories as said before season started a team with strength in depth is better than a top heavy or strong bottom end aslong as the strength in depth team all perform at the same time if young bickley settles down and scores a few points I'm sure comets might just take a few more points on the road
