im not so sure charles fits in well down somerset hes liked by both the promotion and the fans but i do understand hes got thet sort of average that might just go against him
-
they might prefer to keep him on a 7 if they believe in him and therefor would have to adjust elsewhere if it comes to it
-
the thing is when you sign a 9pt rider you expect 10 to 12 points most meetings when you sign a 3 or 4 pt reserve if they score there average with the odd meeting higher there doing there job
-
very brave rider is richard hall can ride the boards with the best of them at times
-
glasgow is a team i would love to do well fans (allthough they have died down recently) were all very pasionate and friendly and also very knowledgable about speedway wish them all the sucsses they deserve as this is the redcar page id better say that i also think the redcar fans are also very pasionate about speedway
-
lawson was never havvys kozza was in talks maybe but was never havvys theres a lot of talk about glasgow outbidding other teams if thats true where is the money coming from as glasgow have been pleeding poverty in recent years low crowds and low income?
-
yes but rode in uk on aussie license
-
yeah proberbly did come over on a 7 or whatever but the point is all the foreign or aussie riders are not rubish british riders start off on a 3 if they dont have the experience and after that it shouldnt matter what country they come from it should depend what level they have rode at and all should start on the same assessed average 5 7 or 9 nationality isnt a indication of the standard you ride at
-
think your being disrespectfull and josh isnt classed as a aussie he dosnt require visa due to his polish conection jason crump ,craig watson, mick powell, shane parker ........ must all have been rubish then in your book
-
that alone sugests there a little uneasy themselves
-
this was rumored to be the case wonder if scunthorpe did actually drop interest because they were under impression he would be a 7pt rider this is why keep saying i would like offical statement on the matter teams and riders could be missing out on there targeted places
-
nice too see a somerset fan at least aknowledge there could be a problem this dosnt just affect somerset it affects all teams 1 way or another would really like some offical statement on this 1 way or the other
-
proberbly before christmas
-
if you want something bad enough you will pay for it most of us would switch jobs if the pay offer was too good to refuse id love to have the average wage and if i got chance i would leave my current job aslong as the job offer was a sound 1
-
its all getting silly now untill we get offical news/statements we are all just voicing our opinions and repeating which ever version we believe if it turns out holder should be on a 7 or other new aussies come in on a 7 then next year maybe the limit should be 42.50 for other clubs and 38.50 for somerset therefor when they do go over by 2 points they will still be 2 under everyone else to make up for the 2 seasons they got away with it but as ive said untill offical statement we dont know for sure what the score is but all riders and clubs must use the same rule book at all times take some beating berwick posts they always seam to win hands down on that count
-
tony rickardsen thretend to take his parant club (ipswich i think) to court under the bosman rule if they didnt let him out on loan they soon gave in regardless off team or rider if a club owns a riders contract then i think they should have option of using them or letting out on loan or put them up for sale similar to that dreaded game foot ball to many riders sign for the richer clubs and never ride for them
-
as much as i think he could be a good prem league rider i wouldnt think hell improve by anyway near that margin
-
theres a big clue in previous posts on this thread
-
and there possibly lies the problem maybe they were talking to him on a 5 but when he sudenly became a 7 maybe too much of a short term risk if hes a 7 for some teams hes a 7 for somerset aswell
-
if josh rides for poole they will have first choice
-
i did review and alter my post but you must have been typing your reply as i edited as there was no replys when i edited as my post now reads just within the 42.50 limit and was edited at 4.03 pm 8 minutes before your post was posted i take it your as slow at typing as the somerset promotion are at new regulations
-
ive read reports he will be coming in as a eu rider due to having dual nationality so dosnt need to ride in aussie national championship and thats also why he is a 5pt average not 7 that new aussies come in on
-
i wonder who that could be ? ive got a pritty good guess going by pevious redcar hostilaties
-
bspa worked out that palm toft reverted back to his 2013 prem league average not workington
-
so lets give starke and greenwood the 2.5% reduction on the averages listed in the 2015 section of this website holder on a 5 pt average puts them just within 42.50 team average interesting to see how this goes if theres any atatement from the bspa or somerset themselves or its just left as is
