  1. Just clothing at the moment. Car stickers next home meeting. No badges as yet
  2. How about an education course or, a penalty points award for the referee for making such a shocking decision? The ref did not look at the video evidence before making his decision , despite the rule book saying he must do so if it is available. the excuse that the video evidence was not available whilst the riders were down snd receiving attention, is feeble. Just await those extra few seconds until the riders are sorted then, watch the video ??? I was right level with the incident but the fence restricted my view so I was not fully aware of the facts until I saw the video, when it became blatantly obvious that Rushen moved left, to block harrison. unaware of Rushen’s error, apart from this incident , I was mightily impressed with his nights work. What a talent. That said however, someone should sit him down, go through the video evidence with him and ensure he learns from this both riders could have been seriously injured and were very very lucky to be able to walk back to the pits
  3. There were massive queues to get in, slightly delaying the start. I’d say 2,500-3000 fans. It was rammed
  4. Looks excellent. Great size and shape. Decent amount of banking on the bends. Looks a very fast track will only get better as it settles in and the track staff have more time to work with it. Plenty of track equipment due to arrive in the very near future so all looking very positive. Some good racing tonight, very impressed by both foxes reserves. Gutted for Thomson in heat 14, spark plug problem with half a lap to go , cost him an easy win, the foxes a 5-1 snd the crowd, a last heat decider which the meeting merited.
  5. It says on the clubs official site that nils is awaiting medical clearance to fly as he has been sidelined by a punctured lung. think it’s unfair to question his commitment under these circumstances. Article also says if he gets the all clear, he hopes to be riding in both of Mondays matches personally, I am glad he is doing some meetings to get sharp snd , match fit
  6. Brilliant news Congratulations to everyone connected with the club . All that hard work has been worth the wait. Well done everyone can’t wait for Thursday night. Looks like a very big track
  7. As a lifelong Brummmies fan, I got so disillusioned with the sport that I walked away from it mid season 2024 and haven’t been to a meeting since. there are many similarities with the start Northampton have had to this season , joining the league at the last moment and all the ensuing problems that brings, with the last few seasons at Birmingham. I have thus learned not to have any great hopes or expectations of the upcoming season . I got used to under strength teams snd often, deeply frustrating snd disappointing team performances. I am going to give Northampton a go as they are anew team and thus, I do not have to support any team that I have been “against”, for year after year . all I ask of my new team this season is that all riders and management give it 100% at all times and adopt a positive attitude to a difficult season with a view to being able to start next season on a more even playing field with the other teams where team building is concerned. Can I wish everyone connected with Northampton an injury free season and, one with as few problems both on and off the track as possible. To me, a success season will be one where it hasn’t been embarrassing to admit to being a Northampton fan and more importantly, one where the club grows snd there is not in any doubt about them running again next season
  8. I know Paul from Birmingham. I found him to be very approachable and knowledgeable. He constantly mingled with the fans, seeking their views and opinions and most importantly, seeking to take those views snd opinions on board. I hope this is going to be a great success snd with Paul at the helm, I am very optimistic.
  9. Just another typical night at the worst, most boring speedway track ever built
  10. When worrall is fit, we won’t have the option of signing anyone as we will have already passed the deadline of completing 75% of out fixtures which comes mid was through the 28 day period. had to be a full time signing NOW or keep an unfit Worrall or run rider replacement which the club has already stated , does not work for us with the current team.
  11. Again, I agree with every single word of this post
  12. I have to agree 10,000% with every single word of that post.
  13. Ouch. … harsh but …. True !!! And they made him captain !!! You couldn’t make it up.
  14. The only person Tolley should have been lambasting was his team manager for his absurd riding order snd yet again, his unthathomable lack of team changes, leaving sedgemen in 12 and Worrall in heat 13. oh and maybe he could also have a word in the track man’s ear for yet again having a track surface totally different from the last hone meeting. Yes it was a really hot day all day, thus making it difficult to keep the moisture in the track but why oh why wasn’t the track watered far more often during the meeting? kings Lynn rode harder than we did, attacked the track more and fully deserved their win.
  15. Yes. Very healthy turnout. Lots of new faces, youngsters and families with children that are not normally there. warm weather at last was also a blessing, as was the much anticipated debut of lindgren
  16. I agree , it’s stupid. As the rules stand, if we dropped Worrall snd kept cook until Worrall was well enough to return, we would have to apply for permission to reinstate Worrall snd this might not be granted and, there’s no guarantee Worrall wouldn’t choose to go elsewhere, as per Pickering last season looks like we’ve chosen the rider rep option for Ipswich tomorrow so if we follow that trend then the using of guests argument doesn’t apply anyway. ti be honest, being able to use Brennan plus several rides from Pawlicki is probs going to be more beneficial as long as Pawlicki finds some form.
  17. I’d say 100% the correct call. Cook has done nothing wrong yet, at no time this season, has he excited me or had me commenting after a race or, a meeting ….. “great job by Zack there”. He’s been unlucky as the plan was to have him at reserve but for various reasons, this hasn’t happened. Sadly for Zack, Worrall and sedgemen are both riding better than him snd scoring more points. regarding lampart, he has done much better than I expected, there have been flashes of brilliance and signs he is improving week on week. There is also the bonus that lampart becomes a club asset whereas Cook doesn’t. Lampart has the edge on cook in my opinion Worrall has been lucky as until they were all told a change was coming, his form had been disappointing but he’s got his finger out since then thankfully, Some said keep coook and redeclare without the unwell Worrall then release cook and reinstate Worrall when well but, remember, Lynn tried that with Pickering last year and he jumped ship to Sheffield plus, there’s no guarantee the authorities would have sanctioned Worrall being reinstated ….. They can decline his returning. yes, for me, 100% the right choice. thanks for your efforts Zach. Bit unlucky if truth be told. Hope you get fixed up elsewhere asap.
  18. Touché ….. I say… yet another embarrassing cock up !!!! you really couldn’t make it up snd expect people to believe it. only in speedway and seemingly only at Birmingham !!!
  19. No…, he’s currently our number 1 !!!!!!!!!!!
