  1. Believe it or don’t believe it, that’s up to you. Team was sorted weeks ago
  2. Yes, I do. that’s what I’m hearing why, if true, I will not be attending next season
  3. The team has been signed for ages now, just not released to the fans yet. i don’t know if Sam had any input on the team but I do know who did have a big say and that name was neither Sam or, Laurence. Sam may have been involved but to what level, I don’t know. the last four riders in my opinion will be the two Pawlicki brothers, Viktor lamoart and Zac cook Zagar or Jan Kvech could replace one of the pawlicki brothers
  4. I don’t know how you get any optimism from that interview….. he clearly stated he was going to be making it up snd learning as he went along. He has no ooomph about him. Dull as dishwater. Did you listen to the Worrall into? Steve clearly stated … Sam is from a different era when speedway was totally different, if he thinks he’s going to tell me how to set my bike up, that’s not going to work. %
  5. I will let the club make the announcements then I will let you know if I was anywhere near Look to Poland …..
  6. I’m glad someone else has said that!! couldn’t agree more. everyone knows my feelings about Laurence Rogers but I fear we are in exactly the same position with Ermolenko. That interview was as dull and uninspiring as could be which, sums up my opinion of Ermolrnko. I’m sad to say that I am running out of patience with our club hiararchy. When all the other teams feature at least two world class stars, what do we get ? two second strings and a reserve plus Ermolenko. the fans are not daft, they can see the writing on the wall ( yet again), they want to see what we have at the top end of the team , if we are going to be competitive or, cannon fodder. The team was signed ages ago so, no excuse for dribbling things out like this. With directors who have been fans for decades, surely they understand what the fans want to hear so, why are they doing things so arse about face ? I’m concerned this is because deep down, they know the team isn’t good enough ( may be the best they can afford), and are putting off the inevitable reaction , maybe it’s just that they haven’t got any idea about public relations snd how to sell the club to the fans. I have a pretty good idea who the remaining riders are and it’s looking highly unlikely that I will be attending next year , I was embarrassed snd humiliated enough last year. we seem to be putting together a team capable of getting to the payoffs snd competing for the title in the championship but, not remembering that we are now in the top league. !!!
  7. Listen to the podcast introducing Brennan snd it’s blatantly obvious, he repeatedly mentions one name in connection with who negotiated his arrival ….., Laurence rogers
  8. Really…. ? so, you didn’t believe my earlier post about Laurence Rogers then!!!! Thought you’d been around the Brummies long enough to be able to read the signs by now. has all the signs of being yet another disastrous team , destined for abject failure yet again. Will Nigel Tolley never learn ? Seems not
  9. so, just who do you think is carrying out the current rider negotiations, if it is not Rogers ? Apparently we have several riders already signed. . Hope they aren’t Rogers’ signings. We sacked him last year because he was incompetent and the fans and owners had had enough of him. he attended the AGM , has still got his hands on matters he should be no where near. If Rogers picks the team, and God forbid, is named as team manager then I will not be attending next season, after being a fan since the ‘70’s !!!! I agree, the first announcement should have been the new team manager snd, it should have been announced ages ago. For all the good this promotion have done, they still seem to be making the same rookie mistakes, the biggest being their dismal communication with the fans. I’ve read in the Brummies forum that apparently, Nigel has said the first two signings will be announced at the Xmas party on December the 8th. After NOTHING being announced on the club website for an eternity, keeping the fans in the dark, how stupid is it to keep the signings back so long snd keep all the fans in the dark? They should be banging out as much news snd social media stuff as possible , not treating the fans like mushrooms!!! We desperately need a damn good team this year to attract the fans back snd we never have had snd, never will have anything other than a CRAP team when Rogers has picked it. Sadly, unless the promotion announce otherwise, it seems we are in for more of the same. Nigel Tolley continually promised us teams capable of challenging for honours but it seems his view of a great team, is very naive!!! Time to get someone in that CAN and DOES know how to put together a good team. sadly, it seems we are in for more I the same naive management snd I fear, more hot air snd empty promises. Nigel needs to walk the walk snd that starts it’s much better communication, appointing a proper team manager, and minimising Roges’ involvement sadly, I think I am living in dream land , that I am in cuckoo land. I hope Nigel proves me wrong but, I doubt it
  10. Only for the normal time slot for shoppers which isn’t sufficient time for you to attend the speedway without getting a fine so effectively, no you can’t
  11. Not according to Robert lambert at the airport on the way to Toruń on Friday
  12. Masters is Leicester bound along with becker no thanks on sedgmen
  13. Let’s hope so as Nigel is willing to spend the money. the biggest problem last year was letting Laurence rogers have a say in team building ,he’s clueless on that front . just don’t let Laurence Rogers have any involvement in team building. and we may have a chance .
  14. That would depend upon Nigel actually producing the quality team that he had been promising for the last two years as opposed the two garbage teams we’ve had foisted upon us !! talk is cheap but when it comes to walking the walk, we’ll that hasn’t happened yet. All well snd good spouting off about all the quality riders contacting the club begging to ride for us ( look at this time last year!!!), then we get none of those intimated snd end up with the garbage team we had this year with them saying Dickson won’t be involved, let’s prey that Laurence Rogers has absolutely nothing to do with the team building or we are screwed before we start. Sort the new manager first then let him sort the team i won’t hold my breath
  15. An amalgamation between both sets of management snd riders apparently
  16. To correct earlier posts, it was stated that if we run, it will be in the PREMIERSHIP, not the championship taken from the Brummies forum, by Judy Stambuly from the supporters club who attended them posted the news on the forum; Many things were discussed about the future of the Brummies at PB. There is an 80% probability of the Brummies riding next season, it will be in the Premiership and we will ride on Monday nights there is also a 20% chance that we won't be back in 2024! I just know Nigel, Laurence and the rest of the directors are doing their utmost to keep us running for the seeable future. The key word there is PREMIERSHIP
  17. The biggest improvement for me, would be the ability to join the meeting mid way through snd be able to watch it from the start, rather than to have to wait until the meeting is over then, watch it from the start. not everyone has finished work or, done their other domestics or family duties in order to watch from 18.30 / 19.00 and it is. very frustrating to have to wait until the meeting has finished in order to watch the full meeting from the start .
  18. Over a year before that is due to happen, after the next speedway season as it takes that long to get the new set up sorted appropriately
  19. We got very very close to signing several very high profile riders, signings which would have shocked you all. The lack of meetings on offer proved to be the biggest stumbling block. yes, Birmingham were more than aware that Tarasenko was available on a 5 point average. ….., Nigel trolley was correct, if we had got one of possibly two of the signings over the line, we would have been a threat to anyone, home or away. snd , yes, the promotion would have been able to find the proposed signings.
  20. He would replace Nielsen and, score more points !!!
  21. Care to explain/ name names of who is supposedly being tapped up please. ? I think I know who you may be alluding to but I’d be intrigued as to who you mean
