  1. Can someone explain to me how Ipswich got the rider rep facility for Lawson tonight as he was not injured or unwell? it seems he chose not to ride as he was prioritising the health snd wellbeing of his family ( no criticism from me on that score). i am assuming that it has been classified as withholding his services thus, the club get the faculty . If that is the case then does that mean Lawson now gets an automatic 28 day ban ? not trying to point score against either Lawson or Ipswich, just asking a question and seeking a clarification
  2. So I can still trust my gut feelings then 😃😃😃😃 let’s hope I never have to suffer having Batch in any team i follow EVER again. great to see promoters with the bottle to stand up to these riders who think that they can pick and choose not only when they can be bothered to try but also, when they can turn up or not, depending upon their mood or the weather 🄵🄵🄵🄵🄵🄵
  3. Well unless batch ride abroad between Mondays meeting and Thursday afternoon, ( I can’t find any such meeting), I want to know when this knee injury occurred. He certainly had no injury after Mondays meeting the club announced the team line up twice on Thursday , including Batch the official report from the club on last night’s meeting makes it clear it was a last minute change of plans. was batch genuinely injured and if so , we fans deserve to know when snd how or, did he simply decide he wasn’t available? if he simply decided not to ride and let the club down at the last minute, he should be sacked immediately even if it meant us having to sign a ride as inexperienced as Freddy hodder who at least wants to ride and, learn snd develop don’t treat us like mushrooms.
  4. Having slagged him off, I have to give credit where due. The last few meetings, he has done the business. Let’s hope that continues
  5. 4.59 in the prem, down from starting average of 4.73 7.32 in the championship , up from starting average of 7.1
  6. Can you keep him up there whenever we have a meeting please. šŸ™
  7. No just a judgement based on watching this sport for 50 years.
  8. considering the very very limited rider options available to them when forming st the very last minute, the team has proven to be extremely competitive. we lost heavily at belle vue and Leicester on the bank holiday Monday when ZAGAR broke his ankle in the morning snd we were already running with guests to 70% of n k iversen’s . we hsve taken almost every other match to a last heat decider. No one expected us to be any where near that competitive!!!! out problem is that we are a team full of inconsistent riders. It’s never the same rider each meeting ( apart from batchelor), but it’s always someone. hence Klindt having three bike failures tonight for instance. this team is one of the decent rider away from being a playoff team. Problem is, getting that rider. Let’s cross our fingers because if we do so quickly, we can still make the playoffs.
  9. On the face of things, his score tonight looks half decent but in reality , it was far from so being. he got a very lucky two points in heat 7 when two riders suffered machine problems. Managed to go from first to last twice and was passed far too easily to lose points in other races which was very very frustrating when he appears to switch off on the last bend to allow Kurtz to pip him. how odd that every time he gets overtaken, he shows no fight snd is always looking down at his bike as if to look for an excuse there, rather than admit he has no fight, no desire and in my opinion, no interest in the teams results.
  10. It will happen and very soon in my humble opinion. I have a sneaky feeling there might even be a surprise departure before to long . Nothing more than a gut feeling but, a strong one.
  11. As much as I would like that, I think it will be an easy win for the aces . Our team is far too inconsistent snd their heat leaders will far out score ours. keeping Batchelor was a terrible decision. Updates for the last meeting said he was tootling around at the back, not trying. That’s him to a tee. job on the line at Leicester, top scorer with best meeting of the season. job safe at Lynn, awful score which cost us the win, despite him being at reserve. A total waste of space
  12. He could score a 7 ride maximum and all that would show would be that he only tries when he feels like it and as we all know, he very rarely feels like it. As I said, a total waste of space
  13. I can’t think of a single foxes fan or for that matter, any other knowledgeable speedway fan who would keep Batchelor above ANY of the other team members. a total waste of space.
