  1. T- travelling up from Birmingham. Can’t wait. Up the Comets.
  2. Can’t remember but it was enough to see that he looked like he was way out of his depth and was struggling badly so much so that he’d struggle even at reserve on that form so, as I said, I’m not at all surprised he hadn’t got a team place he came to one of our mid season meetings and was interviewed in the interval in which he said he was hoping to “ be back soon”. Most fans really hoped that didn’t happen as the guests were scoring far more than Josh had been doing
  3. You keep saying this but where do you get that from as no one else is saying this snd there’s nothing anywhere else to suggest this is happening. Is it just wishful thinking on your behalf?
  4. Auty came in on around a 7 average but was scoring way below that. He looked slow snd well past his sell by date. When he got injured, we benefitted by guests on his initial average as he was due a new , lower average very soon after he was injured. He was performing at the level of a poor reserve. Not surprised no one has offered him a place on his current average.
  5. Auty was dreadful last time around. No way would he be a decent signing ,
  6. The rules have been changed this year to stop such an event and , the season long use of guests for Kennet, by Plymouth from happening. you can only use guests for the first 28 days then you either sign a replacement or you can use a lesser standard guest, ( up to 75% of the average of the missing rider). this is why Scunthorpe made the changes they recently made as the 28 days facility had ended. It’s why wolves recently issued a press release explaining just this scenario snd how it’s hampering them too our 28 days is now up so we either sign a replacement or use riders with an average of around 4.2, thus making the team weaker. come on Martin , keep up !!!!
  7. Myself and two friends are coming up from Birmingham for the opening meeting. Can anyone tell me the admission price please as I can’t find it on the clubs website. Also, will there be any food outlets at the track where we can get a meal after our early start. thanks
  8. It is the BSN series, ( BSN SPONSORS), somewhat confusing but ….. BSN are not showing it live.
  9. Basically, if a race had to be restarted when no one is deemed to be at fault, the riders only have one minute to get back to the tapes to restart the race, not the “normal” two minute allowance about bloody time too !!!
  10. Peter Craven meeting , is an additional £14.99
  11. So, do “new” subscribers, first timers for the 2023 season, now have to activate their new accounts earlier than we were originally told as being 01/03/23, in order to watch event and, what subscription do you have to have taken, in order to view it? I’ve taken both the premier league snd the championship subscriptions so does this cover me for this event or will they be charging extra for it please ?
  12. Seeing the full list of our home matches, how thorp depressing it is. P*#s poor. Overall , SIX matches against Scunthorpe ( nothing against Scunthorpe), will be sick to death of seeing them. this sport really is on death row, even for a die hard like me yet again, we have the fixtures before we have all seven riders. Ridiculous . At least we csn look forward to winning the wooden spoon again.
  13. Yes and I only stuck it for less than half a season before it bored me rigid !!! we spent the rest of that season going around the country watching former Brummies favourites racing for there new teams.
  14. I wouldn’t watch at Leicester even if you paid me to do so. The most boring race track I’ve endured since I started watching speedway in the late 1970’s
  15. What average would gino manzares come in on please?
  16. I’d go with Dan Thompson and Nathan Ablitt.
  17. You need a new calculator!!! 8.51 left Alfie Bowtell snd lee complin fit .
