  1. On that evidence then Yes, but it doesn't matter now. The result stands and congrats to Nicki P, Jason and Gollob on their rostrum finishes.
  2. Does anyone know if this is being streamed over the internet...either by TV or Radio????
  3. The noise isn't that bad...I find it adds to the occasion.
  4. Crumpy is on fire at the moment in the Elite League. Slovenia is not one of his favourite venues but I'm still backing him for the World Crown. Come On Crumpie
  5. I echo what everyone else has said.........just enjoy it. It's a fanstastic day out and with the pairs at Swindon the day after why not make a great weekend of it.
  6. Hopefully within the confines of the Millenium Stadium........anyone got their tickets yet???
  7. Lou....look on page 3 of this thread and see Garf's response which is as below: As I saw it, JC started from the inner gate with KB next and from the gate till the first curve JC drifted out into KB's line, forcing him to shot down. JC new it was a bad behavior as he should have said to KB after the heat : I'm sorry, but you are just a wild card and I'm needing the points to become champion. KB could have been in the final that night, I guess, but we can never be sure can we ?
  8. I appreciate your comment about team-mates Garf but I genuinely think that Crumpie wouldn't intentionally cut up Yogi whether it be in a GP or for The Aces.
  9. What do you mean Garf....was JC unsporting to KB? Seems bizarre as they are team-mates and if I remember rightly Crumpie won the 2004 Danish GP so it's not as if Kenny halted his progress that year.
  10. If someone does write about the History Of Belle Vue Speedway could they please leave out The Perrin Years 1988-1992 and 1994-2004. Keep 1993 in as we won the league that year.
  11. I was right then....Heat 2 Fell and Excluded. I try not to remind him too much of it though.
  12. Anyone think that will ever be broken or will Super Joe be remembered as The Fastest Man Around Odsal. Chris Morton and Erik Gundersen share the track record from Hyde Road.
  13. Yogi has come back from his injury hungry and determined to prove to everyone just how good he is. Just look at his scores for Belle Vue in the past few weeks to see the inury does not seem to be having a negative effect. Haven't got the scores to hand but am pretty certain KB outscored PUK and Hans Andersen when The Aces met The Panthers at the EOES last week. Come Monday at Kirky Lane I've no doubt he'll do the same. I like PUK and Hans but it was a travesty not to include Hans in this years GP. I personally would like Kenneth to get the Wild Card for the Danish GP. He did well in 2004 (Semi Finals I think) and wasn't nominated for 2005 (correct me if I'm wrong). Garf...you be as biased as you want cos we're (Aces Fans) all agreeing with you and hello Lou...never say hello on Rob's site but you have made some cracking posts on there. Say hello next time you're at KL.
  14. Being an Aces fan I'd like to see Yogi get the wildcard nomination but I get the feeling it's going to go to Hans Andersen.
  15. Top 6 I think will be: 1. Crump 2. Rickardsson 3. Adams 4. B Pedersen 5. N Pedersen 6. Hampel
  16. Claim to fame regarding this match. In heat 2 when the Workington riders failed to score (I Think) my uncle, Alan Armstrong, was one of the riders who failed to finish the race....sorry Workington fans but he still chuckles about it to this day.
  17. It's been online for almost 2 years now so it's not that new.....cracking website though, just for the Hyde Road pics....great memories
  18. No..I still remember the dire 2 day affair in 1987. Holland is not renowned for it's speedway riders....I still think there should be a US round and an Australian round.
  19. I went and have never seen it as it was viewed on the TV. Once again, any help greatly appreciated.
  20. Does anyone have a copy of the 2002 Aussie GP on video or dvd they would be willing to copy for me. Any costs incurred would be paid for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  21. The FA Cup Final will be played at Wembley next year and is in May anyway so doesn't interfere with the GP. I'd assume it would be around the same time as this year give or take a week either side.
