  1. its £10 but most teams pay more. a couple pay a fair bit more
  2. it also tells you that the ones that are availible wont ride for the money that buxton pay
  3. i wasnt knocking stocks i was just making the point about speedway gets a raw deal for spilling a droplet oil .personally i think speedway should be more like stocks and not trying to be something its not
  4. these would be the same tracks that other nights of the week run stockcars and bangers which half dont even have silencers and drop oil all over the place yet we get crucified for spilling a droplet from our breather pipes. if this were cricket football f1 or any other sport noise wouldnt be an issue. there are some people in the world that love noise and we have as much right to make it as any tree loving person. and im bloody well going to
  5. no doubt certain engine tuner will be saying kelvin talks crap like he does on twitter everytime kelvin makes a point about bikes
  6. any big name ex riders fancy a skid on the 29th september. message me
  7. has anyone got a contact/mobile number for tony mcdonald ?.if so could you private message it to me please thank you
  8. why do sports psycoligists exsist then ? and yes they have been used in speedway but they were not tuning the engines and i didnt say rider who dont have the belief are poor riders i said it can be diffetence between winning and losing. if you have ever raced a speedway bike competitively you will know sitting on that start line the true meaning of belief in yourself to get to that corner 1st no matter who the other 3riders are
  9. ok obviously you didnt get my point about kelvin .lets put it another way when you have the talent and the best equipment money can buy ,the difference between winning and losing in speedway is a good 100% strong belief in yourself and very few riders over the years have had that and those that have had it have gone on to be multi world champions. . if im wong well its just my opinion .
  10. im not denying kelvins talents as a rider or tuner but if he is that good why was he never speedway world champion? .my answer to that would be as good a rider as he was he didnt have the capacity to manipulate situations. some of what you say about bridger and barker is correct butnot all . nicki pedersen is an example .even on a slow bike you can never dicount him. he hasnt got a natural style but he makes the opposition know he is there .when you race against nicki you KNOW your against nicki and thats the way he wants it and has made it and in speedway at the top level you need to be 100% focused on winning and when 10% of that is focused on nicki you give him that extra. this can be said of mauger, olsen, rickardsson ,penhall, nielsen in fact all of the multi world champs. all of them had the capacity to manipulate. if kelvin or anybody else for that matter has got something to bring to the table then why are they not doing it?. is it a money thing or a closed shop issue
  11. well thats an over excited response to a post if i ever saw it but thanks for pointing out my faults, i will seek out some counciling to make me a better person and to show some love for everything austrailian in the future but for now still hope the aussies finish last
  12. hope it a good final ,no tactical slowing down and the ausies finish last ,thats all i ask
  13. personally i think we should always put our best rider out in heat 1 so we get off to a good start .however we didnt and made a dreadfull start. then i think we made a mistake notputting woffy on a double score race in heat 3 .it was one of his easiest races and had we done it we would of been either in the lead or on level scores for the first half the meeting and the difference between winning and losing in speedway is often the belief ,if we had that belief because we were winning instead of chasing the pack the outcome could of been different. but hey ho were out and nothing will change . all the riders give their all but we just need that little something
  14. in most races we rode well and were there or there about but out of the starts we were shocking .we just couldnt gate and at this level you get punished. we are good enough to win any meeting but only when we learn to gate. but on to thursday ,new meeting new day new line up .we can do it we just have to believe
  15. it wouldnt matter if the last meeting in the month was rained off cause the programme was already used for the first 3 matches and the restage would just be put into next month programme or the month that it is rearanged for and this system is already used by bsi but over a tourniment not a month and the altetnative is the current idea of being ripped off buying programmes from the rain off
  16. maybe teams should put out a monthly programme for around £3.00 with all the matches in that month featured .then it wouldnt really matter if they had a rain off as the programme would still be relevent to the other matches and the public wouldnt feel ripped off by bying it .and it dosent really matter which match you buy it at cause any match in that month would be covered although you would get better value if you brought it at the first match of the month
  17. start world war 3 cause without speedway life would be not be worth living ,lol
  18. is it off tonight? .i just read on twitter from someone at the stadium saying its off but cant find nothing official
  19. because unfortunatly the few in the "havent got a bloody clue" call the shots
  20. on the subject number of injuries .im not sure if there is more or not .the number of absent riders is up but most are through a crazy ruled sport not injuries and a lot of injuries happen abroad and then the rider misses a british match so we think another injury to the list but thats really because riders ride almost everday all over europe and years ago they only rode a couple of days a week. but on average a rider will get 1 injury per year
  21. this problem has been around since the invention of air fences (remember luke priest at stoke) .the problem is more whats behind the air fence. if chris holders acident happend at wolves even with the air fence lifting the fence behind is mesh with no posts held by wires. the air fence has been an excuse for promotors to install concrete barriers for stock cars and i said this for a few years its a disaster waiting to happen. air/foam fences give 100% protection 95% of the time and when 4% happens and the air fence isnt effective the barrier behind should be . the other 1% is the accident that happens where no amount of safety measures would of made a difference because motorbike are dangerous by their very nature
