  1. Zmarzlik gets 4 GM engines a year free for being world champion from GM, he gets huge sponsorship from the door company, Astorin watches and god knows who much he gets from orlen oil as well as his many other sponsors, I think that alone gets him £250,000 before you even get to his polish league money which is well over a million, I don’t think it money that motivates him, he has a desire to win no matter what the meeting, something I alluded to last weekend about timed practice is have you noticed how zmarzlik is never the fastest so eliminating the decision of picking the wrong gates, also last night he and his crew were in deep discussion before his last race, was it to tell him to get second behind bewley so he didn’t meet lambert in the semi final as he knew lambert would be doing his best to eliminate him ? Maybe it wasn’t ? Maybe it was to sit wherever he was after the gate as he already through,These things may seem tiny insignificant details to us mortals but when the difference between winning and losing is so tiny they can be everything, remember last year when he would step infront of everyone else at the gate pick ? It’s pure psychology
  2. Congratulations to lambert, hopefully the monkey is off his back now, well deserved and congratulations to zmarzlik I don’t buy into the opposition being rubbish, yes the Russians would be a challenge but neither are as consistent as zmarzlik is
  3. I just think life is about things you can’t buy so have to achieve them, when you’re gone the only one who benefits from your wealth is the government(they get it in the end )
  4. But will anybody remember Piotr protasiewicz in years to come ? Money isn’t everything
  5. On his day was a fairly quick rider but his EFs were Bizzare, he would just stop half way through a race and come back in pits and speak to his dad for a bit and then go out and win his next ride without finding a fault in his bike? I can remember trying to speak to him about an EF and he just said “I’ve sorted it “ and sure enough he would do four laps, it was always a worry to put him in a last heat decider as you never knew if a EF was mysteriously going to occur, he stopped in so many races, I alway thought he wasn’t quite right in his head, maybe that’s a bit of a harsh thing to say but he wasn’t having bike issues when he stopped
  6. Correct decision, good job turnball not in charge tonight or jack holder could of been excluded for that
  7. Averages is a no but there has to be some sort of restriction on teams next year to stop teams being put together like Lublin, I thought about only 2 GP riders per team ?
  8. Gate 1 and 3 suspiciously over watered there and both Toruń riders left at the start
  9. I think they can, I sort of want them to win as Lublin have clearly tried to buy the league with that team but just hope for good speedway meeting really whoever wins, my team is grudiadz and they gone out already so have no allegiance to the winners
  10. Got to feel for Ipswich, didn’t deserve that, ref was shocking, congratulations to Leicester
  11. I have always believed refs to be fair and unbiased but tonight’s ref has most definitely being biased towards Leicester
  12. Not quite sure how the ref came to that conclusion, on her mindset then surely Becker was the reason for rew moving out ?
  13. Jan kvech has impressed me this year, he is quite young too and hasn’t been outclassed in the GPs either but does seem to struggle for zeilona gora
  14. The inside gate has limitations, you need to make the best start of all or at least be level, otherwise you are clamped and your options become zero, 2 can be the same by getting squeezed by 1 and 3 but 3 and 4 give you the most options of all and the wider the entry to the first corner the better those options become
  15. So with that gate 2 is the one to pick but last night nobody wanted it and it won
  16. Track is prepared really slick without a dirt line and it’s nulling out Thomsen as a force he is, strange decision from Gorzow, riders are touching the fence to get grip
