Well we decided to stay at home, all this concern over Proctor and the dodgey forecast had me thinking it might not take a lot to call this off so not worth the risk, i have no idea who is responsible for this Proctor fiasco but it needs sorted ASAP absolute comedy at its best.. Maybe get down for the league match.. -

Screm in Liams 2nd ride he lost his steel shoe after a bit of a coming together with Taylor Poole just a racing incident ,but Liam did exceptionally well to leg trail for 3 laps, i noticed when he got off his bike at the pits gate he seemed uncomfortable and limping so possibly that is why he missed his last ride not sure but could be.. -

A mate who stands with me on a Saturday night remarked about the cheating at the starts last week and suggested another tape which comes down behind the back wheel when the riders are in place, if a rider rolls back and touches that tape with back wheel then he is out excluded. no arguments OUT.. -

Well i am certainly not on any riders backs and not sniping either just pointing out facts, and I also asked a straight forward question which i notice you have not commented on, i admit i know bugger all about Speedway Bikes but i am confused as to how a Bike you say is struggling for power can absolutely fly around the place when first out the traps but then be miles behind when it misses the start, I know we are only 4 home matches into the season but of those 4 we have lost one and very lucky for it not to be 2. I just hope the lads sort themselves out sooner rather than later so no sniping from me. -

Not sure about Matej having under power Engines Taffy because when he gates he is gone and looks very fast but if he misses the gate he is miles behind looking really slow or should i say disinterested ,so dont really see where your under power statement comes from, i certainly hope he sorts it out but sooner rather than later.. Screm i totally agree our number 1s scores are very worrying indeed lets hope he also sorts it out sooner than later.. -
You have obviously bought that sheep skin jacket we were on about ...
-
I agree with that especially if Scott wears a sheepskin coat Taffy wont be able to resist BAAAAAA .
-
Well thats the letter away to Santa for my season ticket
-
Very true all the other riders in those meetings go through the motions but Vissing was putting himself in the shop window as he had no team at that time..
-
EL need to be told to p1ss off they are waiting to see if the SKY money is still there if it is they will carry on if its not then they will want to join us all together, we all know how that went when they ruined the old National League which i think was running with about 22 teams before they stepped in, i for one dont want those prima donna so called superstars happy as we are thanks..
-
Where are the negative posts? i mustve missed those this meeting should be supported to the hilt by as many people as possible i will support it even if it is 2 National league teams competeing, so i hope you are not referring to me about negativity? because it is you who should be feeling embarressd for telling someone they had posted a daft post then trying to wriggle out of it by saying the ben fund was 6 months ago it matters not one jot when it was the so called super stars did not turn up so in fact what they were saying was totally true. now lets get back to speedway and you can apoligise to Lord Ante in your own time..

Berwick V Somerset (saturday 17th August)
fairplay1 replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Totally agree Screm i had my faith completely restored in Speedway last week only for it to be taken completely away last night, horrendous meeting from start to finish. only good bit about last night was the news about Ricky yawning and responding to pain tests best of luck to the lad... -
Yes even if it was one match it will give him a rolling Premier average as it adds onto last years matches...
-
Ah but if Seb rides in Premier this year it means next year he will come in on his Premier rolling average which will be about 7.5, if he had full year out of Premier he would come in on converted Elite average at about 8.5 so definately better with him in team this year rather than guests, good move by the management..
-
Agree with that. after going to the Speedway for more years than i care to remember the old cliche of theres always next season is really wearing a bit thin, not really sure if i will bother next season perhaps some new fishing gear for Christmas instead of the usual Season ticket will be on the cards...Hate saying it but really peed off at the min the promotion have done everything they can to improve things but the team just simply are not good enough...

Yeah Weathers hard done to by Lanham he made the same move on Bellego too i would have loved to see the dirty sod try that on Lee Complin because lee would have kept it wound on. not nice to see Lanham getting slow and resorting to those tactics.. -

Very rare for us to agree but no one can argue with you tonight, i am sure we will get the usual excuses of the track was bad etc but both teams are on the same track you are underwhelmed i am totally peed off like you say early june and season is over .....
