  1. You might want to have a go at improving your spelling whilst picking at grammar. Otherwise it just cheapens any point you try to put across. Either that or it's just general sloppiness. Now walk along back to your old troll's home.
  2. fair point but at the age of 30 Gollob wasn't, and I'm fairly sure never has been, languishing regularly in the double figure placings. Gollob always had it but it took him 10-15 years to go all the way to the top. Harris has never even looked like a future world champion and certainly won't be at the top at 40, I'm pretty sure of that.
  3. I don't doubt for a second that Harris is frustrated with his performances this year but I have to question his thinking in not entering the qualifiers having only ever made the top 8 once. And this is where I think he is living in a false sense if security because by not entering the qualifiers he must surely have thought he would get a pass no matter what. Nothing is guaranteed and a back up, should things go wrong, should always be an option. Riders like Crump, Pedersen, etc who have always been contenders can be forgiven one bad season and, under the current format, be allowed a reprieve if necessary but serial under performers like Harris can't expect to stay in the competition if they don't perform. Two chances of qualification have to be better than one however you look at it.
  4. Quite right. Harris appears to be living in a false sense of security that no matter how bad he is he will get a VIP pass, but I'm afraid his membership is almost up and won't be renewed.
  5. So it was him? I thought it was just a random Craig Cook. He should be good at testimonials then.
  6. "he got out to relieve himself". Now normally I would automatically think taking a leak but in the circumstances...
  7. The fact is if he'd been from any other country he wouldn't have been in it last year, or the year before, and quite possibly the year before that. And on current form he doesn't deserve to be there next year.
  8. But how long should they stick with him? No other country gets a place out of sympathy. Apart from one fluke and a couple of decent results he has never looked like making a serious challenge and he's taking up a place better riders could use. If he turns his season around as he did last year then maybe give him one more go but he is on borrowed time in the GPs. If he was any other nationality he would have disappeared 3 years ago.
  9. Oh dear, tripped yourself up there. Again. But keep going.
  10. Don't make excuses for the troll. It was about as funny as trapping your knob in your zip. No need to bring race into it and what's colour got to do with anything? He jumps on every bandwagon without even knowing what the conversations are about so just hurls abuse without ever adding anything to the debate. That's his only reason for being here.
  11. Oh yes.. Well if he's got any sense he'll go British because the opportunities will be greater than as an Aussie.
  12. I agree, but he's only 16 or 17 and compared with similar aged British riders he's probably got more potential. He's obviously a bit green at the moment and has a lot to learn, particularly with preparation and organisation from what I've seen. As others have said he seems to rely on his gating and when behind he doesn't look comfortable to me but I'm sure he can develop these areas with a bit of guidance.
  13. I take offence to being called a racist. once again sticking your nose in where it's not wanted and getting it all wrong. Keep your nose out.
  14. I think the future hopes of British speedway could rest on the shoulders of Tai Woffinden and Nick Morris.. Quite ironic really.
  15. It was more the way you wrote it than the content but as you will see above I apologise as I thought you were English.
  16. It was actually a fascinating meeting on updates due to the tightness of the scores. However, when I came to watch it I ended up skipping through most of it. Has to be the first time a meeting was more exciting not watching it than watching it, that's how bad it was.
  17. Whoever held it before Gravesen's false time, although I believe even that one is dubious, so the one before that. Only in speedway!
  18. Apologies, I didn't realise he isn't English. Thought he'd been on the pop.
  19. You might want to re-read that and start again.
  20. Yes I heard about that. But Jan Gravesen is not the Leicester track record holder.
  21. It depends who the time keeper is and if they can use a stop watch properly.
