  1. He did indeed. Out of interest, does anyone know what the previous longest gap between world titles was? Unfortunately it doesn't look like Crump will break the record of consecutive medals, although he was still in with a chance at one stage tonight. He has equalled it on 10 but it would be nice to see him make history with 11. Needs to gain 14 points on Hampel in the final round.
  2. Congratulations Greg Hancock 2011 World Champion. Remarkable achievement. A true living Speedway Legend.
  3. Yeah, I was getting ahead of myself. It sounded right until I started writing it down. But I think the next race may finish the job.
  4. By my calculations, Greg Hancock is now the World Champion Hancock 8 Hampel 4 Greg 35 in front. Hampel needs 16 more points from this meeting to stay in it and he can only gain 15 even if Greg doesn't add to his score.
  5. I dont believe you would rather switch off than watch in silence. That's like saying you'd rather be deaf and blind rather than just deaf.
  6. http://justbintv2.yolasite.com Beggars can't be choosers, and Cheggers can't be boozers.
  7. Can I shock you? I like Harris. Give the man a wild card, he deserves it. Britains No. 1. BOMBER! etc.
  8. I think you're playing a different game to the rest of us.
  9. I was just about to post this too.. Looking forward to this.
  10. It makes no difference what average it leaves until November. You may as well start a 2013 thread for what purpose it will serve.
  11. We might be in UK bur the GP is still in Croatia.
  12. At the moment, one. He could still qualify for 2012. Harris won't. Harris was seeded as a reserve for 2003 British GP as well as being seeded to the series in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. If both get seeded next year: Harris 5, Pedersen 2. For sure.
  13. To be honest, I haven't seen much of Laguta this year apart from him wobbling all over the place to stop Schlein overtaking him in Sweden last week. I'd need to see better than that to be convinced.
  14. Lindgren is fast becoming the Swedish Harris. Hardly ever qualifies on merit and for me he does little to enhance the series. Unless he qualifies on merit, both he and Harris should miss out next year. Riders I would consider other than Ward: Thomas Jonasson Troy Batchelor Rory Schlein Przemek Pawlicki If a Brit is to be nominated, Tai Woffinden.
  15. Could also be Jamie or Jonathan Swales of the same family.
  16. Biting your tongue is when you want to speak out but decide it best to say nothing. Biting the Bullet is something entirely different which you will have to ask Billy Hamill about after a few drinks.
  17. That's probably why he is still able to do what he does after 20+ years by staying out of trouble and quietly going about his business, much like Leigh Adams did. Although I admit that theory goes out of the window when you look at Tomasz Gollob's antics over the years! Greg isn't so spectacular these days but I seem to recall he was more so in his younger days? Either way, he is genuinely one of the nicest blokes in speedway despite people saying it's false. It isn't. He really is a top guy. Well done Grin
