  1. What a nightmare, I am going to take up 'shove h'apenny', thats if I can find any.
  2. Already said that about Aaron, and correct Matty the same, but that only means he is married to a British Citizen, that does not mean necessarily that he is, although he may have applied. Think that is what I was trying to say, as to ride NL, you must be British Citizen or hold dual nationality status.
  3. Odd question if Matty rode in the NL, why does he need a work permit & visa anyway. If has dual nationality status he surely does not require them.
  4. Only British Promoters can scale these heights of ineptness, world class in this field
  5. Disagree, it only becomes complicated if you make it so.
  6. Just heard Matty might have a problem, as his employer agreement is with Berwick and not Workington, and you can only ride for your employer, hope thats wrong for Mattys sake.
  7. And that would apply in this case, as I am sure it does for Mathew Wethers.
  8. Was it not one of our promoters that said in an open meeting, riders do not need sponsorship as they are paid enough, the concentration of fund raising should be for the club. For me its a 3 way partnership:- The owners for putting their money into the sport The fans for turning up to speedway every meeting. The riders for agreeing to ride for your club. Just remove one of these and you have no speedway, it cannot be just one of them, it is all that are important. Only a fool would not realise this.
  9. The question is what problem ? It was just an abuse of the rules in place
  10. He also has British born children, from a British partner.
  11. Are the arguaments on here, about who can and who cannot come to the UK to work irrelevant, as the rules in place were very clear to the employers. The problem has arisen because either they ignored the rules set down, or were ineptly ignorant of the rules. In both cases the members of the BSPA have created a problem that was not really there,
  12. The way I see it is, there was a set of criteria set down by the authorities, the BSPA either were manipulating the rules or blatantly ignorant to them. The BSPA were caught out, and because of it made the situation much worse. As much as we may like our Antipodean friends they are foreigners without the EU, and should be treated in exactly the same way as any immigrant, the same as the Austrailian Authorities would treat us.
  13. Depends what you are doing or doing it to or with.
  14. Is that the £20 at the gate, or the £20 for the VIP club or it's other name the hi jacked supporters club
  15. What a rider, is Martin and a nice guy aswell, could be a little pricy though.
  16. With the way the BSPA handle things, could probably get him as an asset
  17. Not a spring chicken 27 yrs old Dont know if he rode enough meetings before he was injured. No need to hide Hen,
  18. Much improved, when he rode at The Silver Ribband
  19. To be fair Conda is not a bad little rider, worth a punt on a 5 ave.
  20. Only Slovakian rider I know is Vaculic Slovenian however Conda;- Dolinar, Kukovica, Legan. plus a few more famous ones
