Shame, the original line up did look OK, sadly not worked out. Newcastle has always been good with a team in depth, hope it doesnt become top heavy, reserves are not as strong as they usually are at Newcastle.

I wouldnt change at the moment, but if a change was to be made, I would rather go for an assessed rider on 7 who would become an asset, than bringing in a loan transfer

The BSPA committee made rule that you could not lodge an objection when a decision was made by themselves. I understand Berwick promotion still made their objection anyway.

On the track, it has taken 5 seasons to get there, but the track is good this season, it showed promise occasionaly last season, especially in the build up to the FIM meeting. So far it has been consistant this season, something lacking in the past, please, may it continue. More importantly, the riders like it, that to me must, always be be the priority.

We did not assemble a No1 based team, a team in depth option was taken, that is what we have. If you want a No1 then you have to have the best 2 reserves available, probable on a 5 ave each, that means you cannot bring on a new young rider like Liam.

Don't sack a rider, sort out the problem. Remember PW sacking Adrian in 2006 because he was only scoring 9 points at No1, what a mistake that was, we came last but one in the league, due in the main to destabalising the team.

Heppy asked me a question on Sat 'Were we good, or were they poor'. Although Berwick rode a lot better, Newcastle were poor on Saturday. I placed Newcastle in my top 4, certainly top 6, but that was a poor performance from them, I am pretty sure that George will lick them into shape, he always does. Don't like to see what happened with David & Kevin on Sat, certainly not in front of the fans, but strengthens the arguament fo moving the middle 4 around, have to agree with Screm's line up still leaves a stronger rider in each line up,

Never understood why a referee pulls the rider back when he did not move, did not touch the tapes and was lined up correctly, all the rider did was anticipate perfectly. I put an arguament on here a few seasons back for a second white line, but lined up to the centre spindle.
