  1. Perhaps you could be the April photo in the callender, get your boobs out
  2. Could lend you a couple of Berwick fans, plenty of wind from some. Kenny Tait could probably inflate it with on of his gasps
  3. Yes I am a bit one sided when it comes to Leon. But, for his age he has bags of talent, never mind the riders, if i were a promoter, I would be watching his progress.
  4. Out of order my friend. Leon has great potential, yes very young, but the younger they start the better. Trained by an ex rider who can show him WHAT NOT TO DO, hey! Skider I see In the Star this week everyone apart from Edinburgh, predicted Berwick will be 8th or below. Lets hope the lads gel, and prove them all wrong.
  5. Take a match box, one side cardboard SLICK, the other side a slither of sand paper GRIP. Now build up the sandpaper side with loose dand and try striking the match, you cannot get any grip to strike the match because it's like loose shale. Road repair lay bitumen down only, VERY SLICK, put down a load of loose chippings down, put your brakes on,through the hedge no grip just loose gravel. Now put a thin layer of gravel on top of bitumen and roll it in, this gives you GRIP. It's what they lay down on roundabouts nowadays. There seems to be a lot of fans believe grip has something to do with loads of shale, it really does not, all that is is a lot of loose shale, like we tend have at Shielfield around the fence. Now prepare a slick even track, then lay course shale on top and pack it in. Back to the match box, slick with grip on the surface.
  6. If they prepare a slick track with surface grip, we should do OK.
  7. C'mon Robin, you are backing a 6 pointer Mind I am backing a 3 pointer, and of course a potential 8 plus rider
  8. Liam has matured a lot, especially in the last year, I have noticed his confidence, I would add that he is not over confident though, he seems to be aware of his strengths and weaknesses. On the same subject, it is good to see Matej Kus has regained his confidence aswell, he really is looking forward to racing at Berwick this season.
  9. No mate, at least I got liam into the right colours. Highly reccomend anyone who needs new kevlars to look at Speedway Anarchy (Adrian Rymel) amazing quality and finish.
  10. And just look how well turned out he was, in Berwick colours. Great new kevlars and bike covers from Speedway Anarchy, and wern't the race bibs just as good, again from Speedway Anarchy.
  11. With the way the bikes are set up and tuned, the only option is to run with a slick track. Racing on a grippy deep track with these set ups leads to processional racing, as it's been up in Berwick for most of the last 4 seasons, with an occasional glimpse of a brilliantly prepared track, as in the FIM under 21s, where a well prepared slick track, gave the fans some of the best racing seen in a long time.
  12. Dave, hope you are getting a hair cut and a manicure, just to be as well turned out as the track.
  13. You need to do something that fills your day a bit more, perhaps 'The Correct use of the Apostrophe Society'
  14. Hey Paul when I look up tonight, which cloud are you on.
  15. I don't see them as barriers, but a lack of understanding by P.L clubs and the riders themselves. I remember talking to Booey at George Stancls testemonial ages ago about this very topic, he said then, it would be a nightmare, if the promoters did not get to understand the rules of how it works. It's pretty evident they have not.
  16. Ausies are foreign riders without the E.U. It is up to them to get their work visas right. You try getting into Austrailia to work, you will then know what red tape is all about, you can't even get a bag of crisps in or an apple.
  17. Shows how bored we all are, arguing about something so petty. Roll on the season starting, give us something to moan about or even praise, what a shock that would be for some.
