  1. Tom B has made most of his progress riding at No3, protected by two exceptional one and fives, at BV and Ipswich, who went head to head against their opposite numbers several times per meeting, and, invariably, heat fifteen... The fact they remained one and five shows their top level capability... Tom was very honest post the GB GP's as to where is he, and that is a long way off the level of a No1, even in a depleted league... No 1's of Kurtz, Fricke, J Holder and Lidsey, are Polish top tier HL's, so, no idea why anyone would consider Tom to be of that level.. Especially considering he even is struggling to hold down a Polish tier two position..
  2. Football moans it never gets a "Winter Break"... UK Speedway has a summer one... UK Speedway. Leading the way...
  3. Boooooooo Garrity!! Booooooooo!!!! Good luck to the lad.... He effed up, big style, when addicted to drugs... He might end up effing up again... But, at least, he is giving it a go...
  4. Sometimes it is maybe a good thing that the sport gets so little coverage, as that would always bring much greater scrutiny... And, not sure it would stand up to too much of that....
  5. And a lower than expected average means plenty of guest requests...
  6. Interesting that so many when they go outside the sport say an independent body is needed... Yet.... When within the Speedway Bubble.... They publicly never said a word...
  7. Sounds like the track had a good even soaking... When I went last year the wind dried up the track quickly and the water bowser didn't exactly soak the surface, meaning lots of dust, and minimal passing opportunities.. Give me ten pints of Stella and I could have p*ssed more...
  8. Grippy, gate and go.... Riding the white line, and then mid track berm as the meetings goes on.....
  9. Should have held it at Cardiff. They have a roof, I believe.
  10. Hopefully I will make the Speedway Star again...
  11. No! No! No!... Landlords and developers... 70's promoters... Poland... Poole Speedway (thanks Iain).. And, (just remembered another).. Brexit.... They, the above, are all to blame for 2026's UK Speedway's issues... I am not sure why fans are not grasping this...
  12. A shame you couldn't get Jason Doyle... Oh! Hang on...
  13. Good luck to the lad.... Paid his dues... No point having a penal system if you cannot change...
  14. Like the NSS... There is a tipping point for the track..... On the slick side? (Just), with a dirt line outside, tremendous.. Too grippy, and all ride the berm and follow each other....
  15. Apologies... That completes the list .... They only really have ONE job don't they? With the FIM having their fixture list out well in advance... And yet???......
  16. I think you will find that this is the landlords and developers fault... Or the promoters of the 70's who used to take their money out of the stadia in a wheelbarrow and didn't purchase the stadiums they raced in..... Oh, and Poland obviously...
  17. Sayfutdinov one season didn't get £200k of his agreed £650k!!!
  18. Another nation, like the UK, who, instead of developing their own riders, opened up lots of team places to other nations' riders... And are now, just like the UK, reaping the inevitable consequences of that plan.. With the UK going one stage further however, and have allowed many overseas riders to have two team places, not just one..
