Same last year.. He often "talked the talk".. But, I wondered who he was often trying to convince.. Himself or us..

Based on the last two years.. A gradual decline sets in, eg Magic and Dudek. All very willing but turning around a downward trajectory is very, very difficult.. Especially with so many young bucks coming through.. Many of whom will take risks that the more established riders wont anymore.. Hope I am wrong, but whem you start relying on wild cards it usually only goes one way..

It is his issue... So fast when in front, but does come out of those tight bends, where all four hit the bend at the same time, often losing positions.. Lets hope he can continue tonight..

There is no doubt that the overall four meeting package is "just about ok' for the standing option.. (Not quite sure the same for sitting)... However. The factor that is the main gamble for the four meeting option is that it only really favours Aces and maybe Sheffield fans.. (About 3500 max between them in total if they all turn up.) For everyone else, 90 mins plus away from the track, four trips there and back wont be something to look forward to and will cost a fair few quid in transport costs.. And for those further afield, the inevitable hotel costs will be another "big outlay"... Going to be a tough sell I feel, but hopefully wrong.. Me and my lad will go to the final and watch the rest on TV.. £180 or so for both of us for all the meetings and we would have gone to all four.. The last time it was just two meetings, and, to be fair, the price per meeting isn't that much more.. But. Getting enough to fork out for all four to make the first 3 meetings look good in TV will be the main challenge..

Maybe if he said he was now "trans" he could get a gig..? Justine Garrity?

I actually think they are more than decent.. And not punching their weight.. Mainly down to Doyle.. Lidsey progressing well and his performances should be the bonus, rather than the one that keeps them in the meeting..

Very good night for the Aces lads.. Kowalski looks like the next Polish breakthrough rider... 16 points victory and came from "nowhere".. 10 points differential in last 3 heats.. Another good meeting from Wroclaw...

Many go into prison with alcohol/drug issues, often the issue which caused them to offend as they fed their habit, or were heavily under their influence of, on the day they did the crime itself.. Many then also come out on probation due to "getting clean" whilst inside, with the belief that, with support continuing, they don't then reoffend..

Hardly anyone outside the few thousand who follow the sport would even notice if he came back into Speedway... It isn't like any return would drive tens of thousands away... As that has already been done by others down the years... And if anyone wants to make a stand by not going should any convicted criminal be riding then let them.... Plenty more will still turn up regardless of his presence.... And, if we are now only allowing ex cons to do certain jobs, why should others then be made to work with them? Other "labourer's" in your scenario may not want him there with them for example... Therefore, what jobs does society say ex cons can do without someone having a protest? The bottom line is hardly anyone in this country has heard of Speedway, let alone Jason Garrity...

Moving North... Have Denmark called all tomorrows meetings off..? And next weeks, just to be on the safe side..?

A distinct lack of any co-ordination by the governing body to the majority of closures.. Is it because there isnt enough riders to fill any extra teams? Hence it is "better" to let some simply disappear? Imagine if the dozen or so tracks that have closed in circa the last decade where still running? That would need over 80 riders..

Ben Cook certainly looking like "one to watch" over the next few years.. His improvement "glide path" is similar to those who have gone onto the very top level...

On these "grippy nights", where the racing always improves later in the meeting, why not let the riders do 6 practice laps or so each before the racing..? That would be 84 laps, the equivalent of around 5 races worth of match laps.. Moving the dirt out so, meaning the inside grip reduces, hopefully making the racing improve quicker..

Plus... That banner could have come away from the fence and wrapped itself around someone's legs, causing them to trip and drown...

For meetings that important, they get rescheduled, just so the integrity, and credibility of the league is maintained... (I am still laughing writing that last bit)..
