We took over the coverage of Speedway As we thought, till now, twas a farce. But when a car race ran over time.. Covering the Speedway, we couldnt be arsed..

I bet the GP sponsors... And the riders individual sponsors.. Are delighted to see their investment, and brand, getting seen by a lot less people than they would have expected when they laid out the not inconsiderable sums they do..

Because Eurosport are inherently crap at covering sporting events? Their ONE job...

Discovery truly is revolutionising GP Speedway coverage, just as they promised....

If Dan had just half Doyle's, Lindgren's or Barteks agression he really could be World Champ given his natural talent.. Holder and Lambert of the "new brigade", both seem to "want it" more than Dan does...

Madsen and Woffinden look like they have gone on one year too many at this level...

Dan needs to be far more agressive... He just let Bartek through on the back straight...

Usual from Dan... Good lead... Then rides wide whilst the rider behind him is closing using the inside line, and eventially goes under him.. Doesnt seem to learn does he?

And that is now expected to finish past 8pm.

All fine... Until he decides he doesnt want to play anymore and takes both his bat and his ball home.. Then panic sets in...

In Poland, you beat "your man"... You cannot lose a heat if your rider wins it. I would imagine that strategy is ingrained in all the lads who ride in Poland, regardless of what country they are racing in..

Just like most races at all tracks... I will add though, whoever has gate 3 probably won't win...

KL might have got beat using guests, which would be detrimental to the club.. And the sport is down to the die hards anyway who accept anything they are given, so they will always turn up.. And if some kind of protest existed from KL fans, or he got "punished" then Buster could just say "sack it, I will run just the (profitable) Stox".... So. Good luck finding someone to take if over if he did.. Especially as he is the landlord....

That Ship sailed several years ago.. The BSB know their place and run a very successful Championship(s).. The WSB organically.take the best from the BSB who ensure a pipeline of replacements to keep their own competitions successful... For far too long the ego of the UK promoters clung on to wanting the stars who all, virtually en masse, cleared off when Sky pulled out... That was the time to "go it alone" on the best night for each track, and grow the sport collectively., as one... They didn't do it, as one or two GP stars said they would ride if you fitted their agenda... Now we are down to a bare bones number of teams, and a good job too, as just one more in either league and that league would struggle to fill the places.. Years of ego led poor planning and decision making is the challenge for Phil M....

Of course... But the spiral started ages ago... Phil M has his work cut out certainly...

Because the FIM run motorcycle sports...

Punish him and he can Foxtrot Oscar and just run Stock Cars.. No deterrent for any promoter unfortunately so they can all do what they want.. When they want.. In the interests of Speedway though obviously.....

Away teams often agree to meetings in such circumstances... The Aces used to go to Arena on a Friday missing several riders on FIM meetings on the Saturday.. Bring in three or four ex Hammers as replacements and have a much better chance of winning...

The answer is obvious... (And it isnt a)... It is an (expensive) plaything for many, and a stand alone business for others.. Hence so many "Mickey Mouse" rules get made to get meetings on, regardless of impact to the credibility of the sport.. For once, there appears to be some thought that running a KL Select isnt the way forward.. As he owns the place, there will be plenty of Mondays and Thursdays to run this meeting, given fixed race nights mean riders will be available.. Poland allowing of course...

It continued... They should have flown in Mickey and Minnie Mouse to replace Tobiasz and Patryk to give the punters what they want...

Away teams regularly turn up with RR and Guests.. As it isn't their money to be earned.. The home team need to be strong, (hence they even get extra % for guests)..
