Thanks for the weather updates Baldy & Mike, looks like we are in for a good one tonight.

Is there anybody in the Lynn area, that could give a weather update please? Looking on the rainfall radar, there is no rain to speak of heading that way, and with a strong breeze any showers should clear quickly. In the Norwich area (at 3-30pm) its cloudy with hazy sun, strong breeze and no rain for a few hours now, lets hope its the same for Saddlebow Rd.

One point of concern was the big lump of brick which came off the track on the first bend as riders went past . If it had hit someone it could of been nasty. Could have been very nasty. Several years ago I got hit by a lump of shale in the very same spot on the first bend, fortunately I had just looked down at my programme and it hit me a glancing blow on the bridge of my nose, missing my eye by a couple of centimetres. It drew blood but could have been a lot worse. I usually raise my programme to deflect any possible missiles, but a moments inattention cost me. Who remembers those clear plastic programme boards from years ago, maybe I should make myself one!

Once again nothing on the Stars web site. Promises...promises.... Mr Brundle asleep behind his desk perhaps? Poole sign Chris Harris, we sign...Simon Lambert (again) yes I know its only a temporary thing but really, where has the ambition of this club gone? Bottom of the League with a miserable 12 points, once again it looks as if we will struggle along until the bitter end and then all the promises of a wonderful team for NEXT season will emerge. All sounds very familiar, doesn't it?

A remarkable result would be if Robin Brundle could influence the visa issues and enable the club to re-sign Chris Holder. He is hungry now and would be well, " coming home" I nearly choked on my Cornflakes when I read that! After everything that went on, and was said by all the parties concerned, Holder slagging Buster and Lynn off, and Buster messing up Holders chances to sign for another Club, do you honestly think there is a cat in hells chance of that happening? He may be on good form at the moment, but I wouldn't want him in the Stars colours again as a matter of principal.

And Michael Palm Toft is missing again, because..........? And I thought this season was going to be different, silly me.

We now find Kasper Andersen is suspended from British racing, having deemed to have concussion, yet cleared by a GP the next day to race in Denmark on Wednesday! Words fail me. Its not the Managements fault, but if I was in their shoes, he would be out of the door, and replaced with a young British rider. Surely we can't do any worse?

Palm Toft scores 17 for Peterborough tonight, whilst the Stars are thrashed at Swindon, and the Management wonder why the fans are hacked off!

Am I the only Lynn fan who is getting totally hacked off at the Stars fielding an "All Stars" team at most matches? (pardon the pun) We hardly ever get the team we were promised at the start of the season, there is always somebody, riding in Denmark, or riding for their Championship Club or R/R I can accept having a rider injured, its unfortunate and can't be planned for, but there really is no excuse for what has been happening lately with riders missing. I started this season full of enthusiasm, but that soon went down the toilet!

Pretty hacked off about the team line up tonight. R/R and two guests, so much for all the team bonding before the start of the season, we only have half the team there!

Isn't Manzerez injured? Had his arm in a sling on TV.

Wasn't it an Anglia TV production showing local motor sport with Steve Rider? I know he did "Midweek Sport Special" maybe it was that programme.

The early morning rain has passed through, and there is no sign on the rainfall radar of anything nasty heading our way from the continent. Cloudy and murky, but hopefully dry for tonight. Stars to win by 10.

That's excellent news if true. Hopefully we will see Lewis back sooner than later. I'm sure he is just as frustrated picking up an injury so soon in to the season.

The Aces held their own up to the interval, but come the second half the Stars upped their game and stretched the lead. Heat 11 was a disaster for the Aces, with Max Fricke appearing to blow an engine, and then Craig Cooke slipping off when not under any pressure, to gift the Stars a 5-1. Most impressive rider for the Aces was Dan Bewley, a great young rider who must have a terriffic future in the sport. He was really on the pace all night, and was brilliant in Heat 15 to finish second behind Robert Lambert, and heading home Niels Kristian Iversen. Yes the future for Team GB is looking good, but having watched some Polish speedway on TV recently, there are some superb young Poles coming through the system as well.

It better not be! I expect we will get a sun delay anyway. We had this discussion before. They should start on time, otherwise the whole thing becomes a farce again. If I can get there on time from Norwich, then others should also turn up on time. I appreciate that some people work late and such like, but to be brutal that's not my problem. Image if football started late because Joe Bloggs was working overtime, or trains waited at platforms for late arrivals, or planes sat on runways.......etc....etc.

Very sad news. Like many others on here, I had the privilege to watch Ivan race in his prime. Nobody wins all those titles without being something special, and Ivan WAS something special. World class in every respect, he will be missed by all true fans who love this sport of ours. Thanks for the memories Ivan, may you rest in peace.

I thought he was serving a ban, due to "Holdergate" at Kings Lynn last year, or have I missed something?
