  1. Similar thing happened to Pickering. Sheffield dropped him & he went to Lynn, but when Lynn (temporarily) dropped him due to injury he was happy to go back to Sheffield.
  2. As disappointing as Becker has been, he's still averaging more than Mountain. It would also push Cook up into the top 5. Would weaken Leicester imo.
  3. Every time Ipswich look understrength they seem to pull out a great performance, so should make tonight interesting.
  4. Sensible riding order by Lynn (Worrall at 2) Ermolenko may want to take not if that. For Leicester I would've moved Lawson away from 2, leaves then with a weak 3/4 pairing, Lawson would help avoid that.
  5. I certainly don't understand why the promoters teat the koc / bsn the way they do. They should be going all out to convince fans to part with their money the same as they do for league meetings!
  6. Oxford's riding order confuses me. They've put Kemp at 2, obviously realising he'd struggle at 3, but why not give Kerr a go there before dropping him? I also would have out Janowski at 5 & told him to prove he's still a world class rider. Harris would be much more effective at 3 or 4 imo.
  7. Two weak looking teams, but Oxford should win. If they had enough notice, I'd put Chris Holder at 5, Howarth & Pickering at 3&4 with Kerr at 2.
  8. I'm glad they added this rule, if riders don't want to ride here, clubs should sign someone who does want to.
  9. Success in one league, doesn't guarantee success in the other, but it makes me think, don't be hasty with changes.
  10. Why are the KOC & BSN series a "Mickey mouse" competition. Surely riders want to win every race, teams want to win every match, fans want to win every trophy? Of course the league is the main aim, but every club should want to win the league AND the cup, ideally a treble.
  11. I think the big difference between his home & away matches makes his away average look worse than it is. If he was 5.71 home & 4.71 away, you could say that's a good first season in GB (better than many other newcomers). The gulf between the averages, shouldn't put you off him. If he can ride Belle Vue like he can ride Workington, then Ace move by Belle Vue.
  12. After another good performance for Workington, I wouldn't rush into dropping Cook yet. If he comes good, he's better than Kerr & Mountain.
  13. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of team riding by Lambert, thought he had the opportunity to let Harrison round him for a 5-1. Compare that to Josh Pickering who kept looking for his partner & let Sedgmen round for a 5-1.
  14. I agree Scunny should have been made to race imo.
  15. Which is why I don't understand the hosts being seeded to the final. Losing out on a second big crowd. Even if the hosts don't make the final (not likely) there'd still be a good crowd.
  16. Just watched the Holder fall in the semi final & think the ref made the correct decision. No contact & there was plenty room for Holder to carry on round the outside. Not sure why he fell tbh.
  17. Not just Poole I'm referring to. Workington have a BSN semi final to organise & had half a month of racing & last night another blank Saturday. No good reason for clubs not to be racing KOC / BSN ties on their free normal race days.
  18. Wait till the end of the season, there'll be plenty of racing in October after not running in the Summer.
  19. I'm not sure if he'll strengthen the team or not, but agree the comments against him are over the top, it's not like they've dropped Dan Bewley for Harry McGurk.
  20. Tate doesn't have to go with Darcy's thoughts
  21. Can't understand that decision, Kemp did his job at 6 for Leicester (4 points average) but now he'll have to ride in the top 5 at Oxford! I make that 3 times Oxford have de-strengthend this year Riss for Klindt Kerr for Cook Kemp for Kerr For a team well under the limit, baffles me. Maybe they don't want to make the play-offs due to lack of dates?
  22. That would be an odd decision when they have so many points available. Think they should have given Kerr a shot at number 2 before dropping him
