  1. I honestly thought he'd be one of the stronger reserves in the league. Hasn't happened.
  2. Who decides if it's a close finish though? What if Edinburgh said it's a close finish use the transponders, but Glasgow said it wasn't close Harris clearly got it lol!
  3. Seems an odd decision not to sign a Dane, unless you are a Wednesday club. I'm sure both Workington & Berwick are delighted with Vissing & Borke & would just need to plan when to race at Poole / Oxford. It's not like Danish teams ride every Wednesday of the year. Perhaps Cami trying to deflect the blame of not picking the right riders I wonder?
  4. Now King's Lynn have been deducted 2 points, can Brummies avoid the wooden spoon?
  5. Good decision by the SCB. No point calling off fixtures if it costs you 2 points, won't harm Lynn and his season, but at least a precedent has been set.
  6. Nope, he's been signed, in the new team deceleration.
  7. I don't think they can force a rider to go to rehab, they could however say "you have to complete rehab before being giving your licence back after the ban?
  8. She's actually averaging 2.21, so Workington haven't gained an advantage, but that's still irrelevant, why come out with a detailed set of rules & not follow them?
  9. Riding at number 6, no more can be expected of Hodder imo. Hume has a 6.07 average for 24, more than a point above his starting average, can't drop riders based on one poor performance. Despite all his knockers, Etheridge's 24 average is above his rolling ave too.
  10. Plymouth always looked to have strength in depth, but not race winners. Nearly everyone rated them bottom based on the top end of the team. Like you say, could be outsiders for a top 4 spot if they had a number one.
  11. Can't imagine he'd ever leave Scunthorpe, as long as he's wanted there.
  12. Well that was a surprise, thought it'd be close on aggregate, but slightly fancied the Bandits. Well done to Scunthorpe.
  13. Title favourites Poole have had 3 home matches, scored 61 twice, but only 49 against Edinburgh. They've also had 3 away matches with their biggest loss (4 points) coming at Edinburgh. Honestly I don't think Edinburgh look that string on paper, but they are doing really well this year. However I feel Workington's top 5 should ensure a win, can their reserves pick up enough points to give them the chance of a bonus point? Edit After last night, expecting Edinburgh to suffer a big loss today.
  14. If that's the ruling, Glasgow should look to sign an U24 league rider on a 4.00 average & when it's rejected, get the lawyers to point out Workington signed a 4.00 rider under the same circumstances!
  15. They drastically lowered the points limit & put in restrictions in an attempt to turn it into more of a "development" league. However that's just a quick & easy option. As it means 30-40 year olds who've ridden for 10 years, but will never make it can ride, but a 17 year old who averages 4.01 in the Champ can't ride. However you have to be careful with age limits as age discrimination is illegal. A 60 year old could go for an apprenticeship interview in an office & has the same rights as a 17 year old school leaver. Personally I would've riders averages based on both points scored & experience (not age). I have no issues with Hutt & Mudgway riding, if a team has 6 developing riders, one old hand is hardly gonna stop their progress. Besides if there were better 15 year olds out there, I'm sure they'd be in the team. Finally, this is a one-off appearance by Mudgway as Mulford is racing on the continent & no guest is allowed.
  16. I honestly believe they relaxed / ignored the rule, because the Championship / British Speedway on the whole wanted the publicity of having a female racer
  17. Kemp should know his way around the track pretty well
  18. Just think she should be treated the same as male riders.
  19. Scunthorpe to win, but Berwick should go through on aggregate. But it's not a certainty, Scunny are very good at home.
  20. I don't know why Cami is so upset. Glasgow have to win (or draw/win) at Edinburgh to qualify. If Glasgow won the superheat, they'd still have to win (or draw/win) at Edinburgh to qualify. The only person who could possibly be upset is Chris Harris for lost wages?
  21. Yet somehow Celina Liebmann signed on a 4 average not 5?
  22. Shows how strong Ipswich are. Winning away at their titles without their top 2 dominating
  23. At home amazing, away from the NSS he's a second string
