Leicester v Witches 02/05
szkocjasid replied to blue witch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
But it's not just Doyle & Emil's points that count. For arguments sake Doyle & Sayfutdinov get a 5-1 in heat 13, Ellis finishes second in heat 12 (losing a 2-4) Ipswich have gained 2 points. If Doyle wins heat 12 (3-3) but Ellis is last in heat 13 (3-3) Ipswich don't gain those 2 points. -

Not sure I understand the logic of moving Ellis to 5? Riding with the reserves looks a weak pairing. -
Thinking outside the box now Milik has a new average! Oxford Sam Masters 9.05 Scott Nicholls 8.54 Erik Riss 7.68 Vaclav Milik 6.50 Jody Scott 2.00 Ashton Boughen 2.00 Luke Killeen 2.00 Total 37.77
-
If I was Oxford, I'd 100% sign Riss in May (before Killeen & Boughen get new averages). So it comes down to, which pair do you want with him: Heeps & Atkins Jenkins & Jack Smith Jenkins & Jody Scott Jenkins & Ryan Kinsley
-
Changes to the Spires team shouldn't really make a difference to the Cheetahs team. Riss can ride for both clubs.

Glasgow v Workington - league - 3 May @ 7.30pm

Does that mean someone like Ryan Kinsley who hasn't got a NDL club can't guest for a Champ team? -
Due to the complexities of the averages had Oxford signed Cook in May, he'd join on his converted Champ ave of 5.85 & Riss would've remained at reserve. Which way round would suit Oxford better?
-
He had a very decent season last year, up until the crash that injured a photographer. That could affect any rider, wether the struggle with mental health or not. Some comments on the forum suggests he had a bad season, but really he just had a bad end to the season.
-
I've no idea, I could easily list multiple riders, but I don't know if they want to race in the UK, nor am I 100% sure of the averages, since they changed the rules for assessed averages, which is why I said "if there are riders available"
-
While Cook is a good signing on his rather low average, they had 7.44 available to replace Kerr & could've really strengthened up (if there are riders available).

Nah, Buster only cancels meetings when there's a good forecast lol!

POOLE V PLYMOUTH Weds 22/05/24; BSN series.

Interesting that every Plymouth guest so far has been a second strings. They'll be hoping Lambert rides like he did in the KOC final. -
Smith is in a decent position with Glasgow & Scunthorpe needing a reserve guest. Can choose to race at whichever track suits him best?

With KK in the team, would at least get some home wins! -
LIONS v BIRMINGHAM 25/4/24
szkocjasid replied to justathought's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If Milik & Pawlicki were the best two, can't imagine the other four will be up to much. If Birmingham replace Lampart, so Milik is reserve, then he's worth keeping imo. -
I was talking about the KOC match at home r/r at 2 or Pearson.
-
If using r/r at home, move it to number 2 so reserves are out with Cook 3 times & Tate goes in heat 8. But think I'd go with James Pearson if available.

Tate must be listed higher, that's how Vuolas was able to take a IRR outing for Tate. When Vuolas was injured only the reserves were lower than him & eligible to take extra rides.
