  1. Then 6 weeks in a row with a home match. Maybe the plan was to be busy heading into the play-offs?
  2. I'll chip in with 1: Morris 2: Dan Thompson 3: H - Sedgemen / A - Batchelor 4: Bowtell 5: H - Batchelor / A - Sedgmen 6: Joe Thompson 7: Hagon
  3. 1) Batchelor will score more than the rider he was replacing - doesn't matter that he's not the rider he once was, still an improvement 2) Hagon is similar to Pearson in the NL, but that's not the change to strengthen up, it was to allow a stronger heat leader. They didn't own Pearson so saying they'll never own Hagon is no change. 3) aside from Zmarzlik, probably no rider would put 300-400 on the gate, they've gotta try something though!
  4. Have to differ to your opinion on that tactic, by using their best rider to cover an easy heat, Lynn will be using their weaker r/r options against stronger Leicester riders, so expecting less points from r/r?
  5. Why would a rider ever be committed to a club when they club can drop them at a moments notice? Loyalty works both ways!
  6. What on earth are Lynn thinking moving r/r to number 2? Means Laguta has to take his extra ride on heat 8 against the "rising star" is that not a waste of your teams best rider (& one of the best in the world)?
  7. Dissapointing for sure, but something Swindon, Somerset, Newcastle & Eastbourne fans would be jealous of!
  8. Hypothetically if a 15 year old attacks the referee because he disagreed with him, are you saying he can't be banned?
  9. His first match was at home to Plymouth (the team with the weakest reserves in the league) so he probably looked better than he actually is. Now he's just showing his usual form, NL heat leader, but struggles in the Champ!
  10. Oxford could have won by more, I was surprised they didn't use a tac sub in heat 6. Masters had already beaten Ross/Flint, so a 5-1 with Nicholls would've put them right back into the match (whilst meaning the reserves taking one less ride) of course it didn't matter in the end! Edit: Unless Berwick can win by 4 or 6 at Oxford lol!
  11. Why would he block him from racing NL? Wouldn't that benefit both Turner & Plymouth?
  12. I'm starting to think Berwick, Birmingham, Edinburgh & Plymouth could lose every home match, except to each other. But one of them will still make the play-offs
  13. Disagree with the second part of that comment, Atkins walked away from Plymouth, they didn't want to drop him (from either team). I agree Atkins is riding well for Oxford, but his form isn't an "I told you so" to anyone.
  14. With Pearson dropped by Birmingham, would he score more points than Complin?
  15. With Pearson dropped by Birmingham, would he score more points than Turner?
  16. I don't understand the anti-Batchelor comments, he has a 7+ average. So on this season's form he'd be an improvement for every Birmingham rider!
  17. The way the points scoring worked I would say Redcar drew & Poole won lol!
  18. Wouldn't have him at 2 I'd go: 1. Laguta 2. Jorgensen 3. Pickering 4. R/R (or bring back KK) 5. Klindt 6. Thompson 7. Rowe (wishful thinking) 7. Edwards
  19. Can you imagine how many guests would be used if riders didn't race when not fully fit?
  20. Could race NL on Saturday's, see what sort of crowds they get for that?
  21. I don't see why they would. They obviously weren't planning to have the strongest "RS" otherwise they wouldn't have gone for Mulford (no offence). Nothing has changed in that perspective. Perhaps they could strengthen up in time for the play-offs, but until then - no rush!
  22. Disagreeing doesn't necessarily mean calling Riss a liar, but any speedway rider who has a bad night will always blame his bike / set-up / track conditions, I can't remember the last time a ruder said, "it was all me, i was poor). Probably sensible for a speedway riders confidence to blame his bike regardless?
  23. I stand by that comment, as a neutral the match result, even the "stupid heat" meant very little. Had there not been play-offs it would've been the most important heat of the season (so far). Now I'm sure Redcar & Poole fans cared about the result, myself find Berwick vs Oxford tonight more interesting. As for the racing anyone there of course would want to see a superb match.
  24. Just noticed updates had Mulford 2nd, Edwards 4th. But official score sheet has Bailey 2nd, Mulford 4th in heat 14. Explains why I was confused by earlier comments.
