Is it worth a rider having a high away average though? Bailey has a 6.31 / 3.53 split. Hume was 5.39 / 5.73. So if Bailey has a higher away ave would he not also be dropped like Hume was?
-
Coles would be on a 2.00 ave. He would be the best option along with Mulford or Stoneman imo. Riders like Scott or Hodder would be more useful if being signed up as an asset, but I would say it's too early for Championship racing in 2023.
-
Also need the points limit announced. Once I know the team building plans makes picking teams more fun (for me).
-
I agree it's all about opinions, I just feel how can someone say no to rider A, if there's not a stronger rider B available?
-
Would leave Berwick a bit below the limit, Jake Allen on 6.30 would be the highest averaged rider who fits.

If money wasn't an issue (2022 rules used) Belle Vue Dan Bewley 8.91 Robert Lambert 7.61 Tai Woffinden 6.85 Mikkel Michelsen 5.67 Anders Thomsen 5.53 Tom Brennan 4.40 Connor Bailey RS Total 38.97
-
Got a better option on 4.1 on lower?
-
If it's a 40.00 limit? Berwick Chris Harris 8.76 Leon Flint 7.00 Jye Etheridge 5.71 Jonas Knudsen 5.00 Jesper Knudsen 5.00 Theo Pijper 4.43 Ty Proctor 4.00
-
Nope, it appears if you drop him from one ride he'll quit the team?
-
Using this year's team building rules: King's Lynn Nicolai Klindt 7.68 Richard Lawson 7.71 Michael P Toft 6.86 Josh Pickering 6.14 Troy Batchelor 5.57 Frederik Jakobsen 5.04 Jack Thomas RS Jason Edwards RS Total 39.00
-
Think Pickering could start as second string
-
Not sure I'd agree with that philosophy, you could argue what Woffinden, Dudek, Doyle, C.Holder & Nicki P have had their best days, would you turn any of them down for that reason?
-
Assuming Newcastle's matches are removed from the averages (as Eastbourne's were in 2021) Complin would be back on an assessed 4.00 ave.

SGB Championship 2023 Confirmed Signings

Someone who didn't read the title of CONFIRMED signings lol -
But I imagine it would be more difficult if they rode in different teams, especially as Ace is too young to drive.
-
1) as Ruml got his average based at reserve for 90% of his fixtures, I'd rate Hume higher as he spent more time in the top 5. 2) before his last match of the season I'd have said it was too early for Ace in the Champ. But after he beat Masters at Redcar I quickly changed my mind!
-
The only reason I left Sam out was because he was on a 10+ ave.
-
Assuming Newcastle's matches are removed from averages (same as what happened to Eastbourne) Wethers will be on a 6.47 ave.
-
If it's a 40.00 limit? Edinburgh Josh Pickering 8.92 Craig Cook 8.24 Kye Thompson 6.60 Danyon Hume 5.68 Theo Pijper 4.43 Lasse Frederiksen 4.00 Ace Pijper 2.00 Total 39.87

As his average shot up towards the end of the season, I don't think Rowe can afford to be picky about where he rides!
-
At 7 Joe could score a few points at reserve but Scunthorpe always put their strongest reserve at 6. So Joe could beat a reserve in heat 2, followed by two lasts when he doesn't meet a reserve, then dropped from his last ride!

Plymouth Gladiators 2023

Assuming a 40.00 limit? Plymouth Richie Worrall 8.29 Ben Barker 7.80 Hans Andersen 7.25 Danyon Hume 5.68 Dan Gilkes 4.55 Alfie Bowtell 4.38 Connor Coles 2.00 Total 39.95 -
Based on suggestions I've read and a 40 limit! Redcar Erik Riss 8.58 King / Worrall 8.05 Charles Wright 7.48 Jordan Jenkins 5.31 Cameron Heeps 4.33 Jason Edwards 4.10 Jake Mulford 2.00 Total 39.85

If it's a 40 limit Scunthorpe Ryan Douglas 9.38 Michael P Toft 6.76 Jake Allen 6.30 Simon Lambert 5.20 Anders Rowe 5.08 Zaine Kennedy 4.27 Joe Thompson 3.00 Total 39.99

Given Ruml upped his average riding at reserve in 95% of the matches, I wouldn't be keen on him as a lower points limit means he's bound to start in the main body of the team!
