Has Basso ridden in a team with Bjarne before?

It should be easy to challenge for the title, as a team only has to finish 4th out of 6! Heck a team spending all year in 5th could argue they are still challenging for the play-offs / title!

In Poland I'd agree Musielak over Harris, in the UK not so sure. Looking at his Scunthorpe form you could argue Ellis overachieved at Sheffield, can he be as strong again?

Thomas rode all matches at reserve. I do feel there isn't a lot between all the RS's but someone has to be the best & someone else the worst!

Palin was certainly the weakest Prem RS last year & if you look at his average away from Scunthorpe, it's far below Thomas.

If true, not sure why Oxford would take him on loan? The purpose of their NL team should be to build an asset base for future Cheetahs riders, not Wolves riders! I wouldn't want to use a rider on loan from a club who he's never ridden for!

Tbh I don't see Palin getting many rides there, anyway unless you can afford Polish wages, can't ask riders not to race elsewhere!

A squad system requires more riders, but we currently have lots of doubling up due to lack of riders!

Simplest option would be to lower the points limit & use the best remaining NL riders at the bottom of teams.

I disagree & think Ipswich look far the weakest of the 5 completed sides, but everyone is allowed an opinion!

I'd imagine Gappmaier is available, but Berwick are trying to find a stronger rider, if they can't they'll end up with him!

I can only see ONE weakness in the Sheffield team - a weakish number 6 in Stefan Nielsen. That being said, you won't find a better rider on a 3.00 ave

Wolves had strength in depth, rather than a string top 2, so it's understandable they didn't dominate heat 13/15s

I see no reason why lots of Oxford can't race on a Friday! When they race against other Friday tracks, they'd have to change race night, which is fair, but they should be allowed to race Fridays for the other fixtures imo Stopping too many clubs racing on the same day must be to free up riders for guest bookings? If every club is racing no guests are available! Which is a rubbish reason to refuse Oxford Fridays tbh. Basically saying "you can't race on a Friday, because others do & they may want to use your riders"

I believe he's commenting on the proximity of Edinburgh & Glasgow. Both racing on a Friday means fans can't attend both, which they previously could when Glasgow raced on a Sunday!

Don't agree with any suggestions of signing riders like Ruml, Manzares or any 4.00 foreigners. Birmingham starting with Morris & Nielsen at reserve would be the strong point of the team, adding a 4.00 rider just moves one of them up into the top 5.

I agree Birmingham "need another big hitter" but it doesn't mean there are any available who want to come & race for them

With riders like Wright, Hume & Etheridge at reserve, Brummies won't even have the strongest reserve in the league!
