Coming from tracks like Costa Messa I guess Shielfield was a wee bit of a culture shock to Kerr , he did improve on his subsequent visits but after a debut like that that's not hard to do

Seb & Liam both injured , TJ still not 100% and a new rider at reserve this meeting may not be as easy as first thought . Has the look of a must win IMHO -
Is he still riding ? Last I heard he was a trucker
-
Only time will tell . personally I'd like to see a strong rider in the No 4 race jacket
-
So what if he doesn't sing the national anthem It's hardly the crime of the century is it ? After all there's far more things in life to worry about . I wonder if from now on other riders who win GPs will recieve the same level of critasisam if they don't sing their national anthems , or is this all all about " he's not a real Brit is he " ?

Didn't the self confessed " Coffin Dodger " on the centre green state that the club had delayed announcing the fact that there would be no meeting until last night because they wanted to make sure first ?

When your No 1&5 riders combined score lees than the opposition No2 rider , you're always going to be up against it , TJ & Seb weren't at the races tonight and it cost us big time , captian Kev was on fine form and his and Theo's points helped to keep it reasonably close , a big thanks too Danny for stepping in for the injured Liam . With no racing next Saturday maybe it will give us a chance to regroup and get things sorted for the visit of The Bears in what must be a Must-Win meeting . Well done to The Tigers on a deserved victory . -

Another tough meeting ahead for The Bandits , almost all of The Tiges riders can fly round Shielfield so we will need to be at our best , once again the big Hts like 13 & 15 going to be vital we need to get advantages in these if we're to stand any chance of winning meetings. Hopefully the change of riding order will help make us a bit stronger -

Much better performance , still lacking a big hitter for Hts 13 & 15 -

Until we have riders who can do something in Hts 13&15 we are always going to struggle to win meetings , poor nights entertainment -

Unless there's a dramatic improvement in The Scorpions performance from last Saturday night at Berwick this will be a comfortable win for The Tigers , I'd expect them to score 60 + -

Cant see how asking parents to pay at the turnstiles for their kids is going to bring folks along . The kids maybe get in free , but when they're through the gate they spend cash , programmes , juice , sweets some thing from the track shop it all adds up . -

Scunthorpe as predicted didn't have that much of a sting , Wilko and too a lesser extent Ryan Doglas and Ashley Morris put up a bit if a fight , Auty was IMHO very disappointing and Holub looks to be out of his depth . For Berwick good to see Stormy back among the points and after a poor first ride Ulrich was a good choice of guest , decent points from everyone in the team gave us a comfortable win , even after losing a 2-7 The Bandits didn't really look to be in any real danger of losing , if Anders knee is going to be a long term problem then the management will have to consider their options we can't afford to use R/R for an extended period as it very rarely works out in the long term and only puts exta pressure on the other guys in the team . I expect next Saturday night to be a much sterner test . -

On what was another cold night , it good to have the meeting pushed through without any major incidents or delays .Great racing throughout the meeting. For Berwick a big thank you to both of our guests top performances from both , an off par night from Theo & Kevin didn't hep our cause and it looks like Anders is still a bit off the pace making the same mistake twice when under pressure didn't help his scoring , hopefully when he's fully fit we'll see a different Anders . Seb doesn't seem to be firing on all cylinders yet although there where some signs last night of the old Seb. Richie was a big miss for Glasgow and if Coty keeps putting in those types of performances it wont be long until he's in the main body of the team .So with the league cup and " friendlies " done and dusted and all the cobwebs blown off its time to get down to league business hopefully with 7 fit riders on track . -
Good facilities , warmer weather , decent racing and teams with at least 5 top quality British riders would be a start
-
After the late downpour any chance of a decent meeting went out the window . It looked pretty obvious after his first outing that " Super " Seb was none keen on the conditions that added to TJ's gremlins and Berwick's inability to make a decent gate in the early heats meant it was always going to be a struggle one Edinburgh got any sort of lead . From where I was I though Ryan's actions in heat 15 where extremely naughty and can't really understand why the ref kept him in the re-run , fair play to Edinburgh though the came , saw and conquered . It looks the league cup has passed us by again for another season , hopefully the guys will put in a decent performance today and we can back on the winning track next Saturday when with some luck the weather will behave and it will be dry and a lot warmer
-
This will be a though fixture , we've already seen how much "Flying Ryan " likes Shielfield could be a potential banana skin if we're not on top form . The result up there will mean nothing if we don't win this one , a win for Edinburgh vs Glasgow on Friday could see the Bandits in pole position in this section away wins are vital so we can afford any slips
-
What happened to the alleged set of track covers that where supposed to be used if a TV meeting was in doubt ? The track at Brewick was fully covered last night , the covers where removed about 10-15 mins before the start of the meeting and the surface was more or less bone dry underneath and the racing went ahead as planned
-
Are the Stock Cars on , on Sat night ? Is this the possible reason for calling it off , if the weather was bad would the track be ready in time ?

A weather update about 4:30 / 5pm would be most welcomed , save another wasted journey for those of us who have to travel a distance , thanks in advance -

I can't understand why Edinburgh have objected when they don't have a meeting that night , no doubt someone " in the know " will explain all to us mere mortals who once again are being treated like mushrooms
