  1. It wasn’t speedy, they posted that tweet on the Friday, showing the pictures of the track on the afternoon of race day a few hours before the meeting. Still don’t know how they got that meeting on! And unless my memory is playing tricks, the track rode superbly that evening.
  2. The single best gater I’ve ever seen!
  3. He did have a disappointing season with us, but to be honest since then he’s been a thorn in our side and ridden Foxhall superbly! This season 12+2 dropping one point to Doyle from his completed rides, last season when he visited three times with Peterborough, he scored 11+1, 14+1 and 14+1 again. Pretty impressive!
  4. https://x.com/rhr_211/status/1703865461878772214?s=61&t=WGGG_bqEEeOH78cfmD9Reg well there we have it. Huge blow that.
  5. You’d hope so yes, but the problem is that the current owner would have to give that signal to the BSPL of their intention to run and to hold fire, and he’s the one currently saying it’s over.
  6. Problem Peterborough have is even if things are going on behind the scenes, the clock is already ticking. Don’t you have to confirm your intention to run, around about now? Meetings will have already taken place regarding league structures etc and Peterborough currently won’t be in a position to guarantee anything.
  7. Probably should have been a full stop after “this week”, and then the poster asking the question if he’s back next week rather than Tatum saying that.
  8. You’re correct of course, but if Louis wants Rew back at Ipswich next year then I can’t see any scenario where he forces a move elsewhere. Belle Vue do like Rew though and I’m sure they’d be interested. The NSS would suit him as a home track actually and I could see him moving through the gears if he went there next year.
  9. It’s not speedway though is it. I personally wouldn’t cross the road to watch any four wheeled motorsport even if it were free.
  10. Don’t blame you one bit. I’d be exactly the same if it were Ipswich.
  11. Similar to the forecast I saw this morning. Rain in the morning, then it didn’t actually look that bad. Hit and miss light showers across the afternoon.
  12. As good as he is, he won’t get a max IMO. Bewely and Kurtz will take points off him around there more than likely.
  13. I know, but can he guest for two different teams in the play offs?
  14. He’s as tough as they come, but he’s not superman. Foxhall Thursday a possibility maybe, but highly unlikely he’d be back on a bike tomorrow you’d think.
  15. Even if he HAS agreed to ride for Sheffield, we could still offer him a good (better) deal
  16. Anyway forecast isn’t particularly great for tomorrow. Showers off and on pretty much all day although the forecast I saw there was nothing substantial and it’s improved slightly from yesterday. Time for it to improve more before tomorrow.
  17. If he was available you’d think Sheffield would have probably used him instead of Fricke last Monday when Lynn weren’t riding so you’re more than likely correct. It’s just another rule that I hadn’t even thought about to be honest. Same as the rule about not being able to use a rising star guest from Leicester but perfectly fine to use their number 1 as a guest. I get lost with half these rules these days and most seem to make little sense to me.
  18. But I don’t see it as a “loophole” to try and exploit. Robert Lambert has an official GSA currently of 7.81 so I wouldn’t look at it as “trying to get away with one”. Genuinely a bit baffled here.
  19. Yeah I get that, but that’s not the way I’d personally feel about it. To me, that’s not what an “assessed” average is, I’ve never thought of it that way. To me it’s an official green sheet average so no bending of the rules necessary. I’ve always thought an assessed average was an average assigned to a new rider that hasn’t yet achieved an official GSA.
  20. I get what you’re saying, but it’s still an achieved averaged and not an assessed average for a newcomer. There’s surely grounds there to at least push surely?
  21. Possibly we’ll see, but he’s definitely the right pick for the NSS considering the options. Maybe Joe for the home leg. We’ve been so unlucky with the rising stars this year. Lost Thomas before a wheel was turned who I'm convinced would have been one of the stronger rising stars, and then just as Dan Thompson was riding himself in to form and riding superbly we then lost him!
