Hugely positive step forward. A long time coming mind! Hopefully will eradicate at best the bending of the rules, and at worst blatant cheating.. simplifying the rule book is something that’s been needed for some time, no grey areas, just black and white so everybody can fully understand them.

It was originally thought he would be a 4, and in the “riders” section of the official website they also had him down as a 4. They’ve now changed it to 5 and Presenter has also confirmed the assessed 5. I think it makes little difference as I think Hume has always been pencilled in to fill the last spot if we signed Emil. In an ideal world you’d want Rew starting at reserve whilst he settles in, but out of the two I think it’s better that Hume will start at reserve and Rew in the main body so it’s worked out ok.

Wolves haven’t got a prayer of top 4 for me as things stand. They’re going to have to strengthen up. Currently I also have them bottom.

Beat me to it. It’s not in Poland’s best interest to block it either. The bloke has been out of action for a year and hasn’t got GP fixtures or any other fixture in another league. They’ll want him sharp for the Polish season.

I don’t normally get involved with these because I’ll give it 3 weeks in to the season before someone makes changes! But purely on the teams that start and assuming Pedersen is in at Peterborough, Ipswich, Sheffield, Lynn and Peterborough top 4 not necessarily in that order. Only team I can’t see troubling the play off places as it stands is Wolves.

The work to hurdle these fences has been going on since November. ACU, Visa, FIM, Polish authorities etc etc. if they’ve finally released news of his signing today then you’d think they’ve been given the green light on these obstacles. We have a meeting three weeks Thursday..

Danyon Hume is basically the only option, and he only fits due to the 25% reduction he gets on his GSA due to being a rising star last year but not this. His actual average is 4.09. Think he would have got the last team spot anyway so Rew being assessed at 5.00 instead of 4.00 probably makes little difference.

See I have Lynn as an absolute shoe in for a play off place. May lack the top end strength of others, but Jakobsen and then either Palm Toft or Jorgensen at reserve getting seven rides all season is absolutely massive.

No he’s slightly too high even with his British reduction.
