  1. My thoughts exactly. You’d think that deal would be even more difficult to do.
  2. Saw the laughing emoji from Beerhut and re-read what I’d put. I didn’t understand it at first as it was a genuine reply! Lol
  3. See I have Lynn as an absolute shoe in for a play off place. May lack the top end strength of others, but Jakobsen and then either Palm Toft or Jorgensen at reserve getting seven rides all season is absolutely massive.
  4. No he’s slightly too high even with his British reduction.
  5. https://ipswichwitches.co/2023-signing-emil-sayfutdinov/
  6. It’s usually 6am. No idea why they do it at that time mind, but every team announcement has been 6am on the dot.
  7. White smoke billowing out of Foxhall towers!
  8. Still no white smoke out of Foxhall towers! Maybe next week..
  9. I was going to highlight that bit but you beat me to it. Problem is both of those two have had spells at reserve in recent years, but neither are likely to do that unless Ben Cook does much better than expected.
  10. My favourite individual meeting. Loved it as a youngster and still do to this day. Someone mentioned that Louis said at the supporters club AGM that it’s been pencilled in this year and he’ll try to get it sorted, but no promises.
  11. The management didn’t have a choice. Friday isn’t a designated Premiership fixture day. If Ipswich were in the Championship I’m sure the Good Friday fixture would return.
  12. “In April 2020, he obtained a dual national speedway licence after obtaining a Polish licence” Was just going off Wiki. Maybe that’s inaccurate I honestly don’t know.
  13. Did you mean Artem? It’s Artem people are talking about here. Artem Laguta has been riding on a Polish license since April 2020.
  14. “In March 2009, Sayfutdinov gained Polish citizenship.” “and on April 22, 2010, confirmed Sayfutdinov as domestic rider and known as Emil Sajfutdinow” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emil_Sayfutdinov https://m.vk.com/wall-29678582_436890?lang=en Correct. If you look on the Ekstraliga app, he’s still registered as Emil Sayfutdinow, not Sayfutdinov.
  15. Drew Kemp is another example. He recently admitted he was told not to sign for anyone else as he was guaranteed a ride for a club, but then was let down by that club who signed someone else and left him without a ride. He could have named that club, but to his credit he didn’t do that and kept it professional. Holder could learn a thing or two by someone over ten years his junior!
  16. Wouldn’t expect you to say anything else Lisa, Holder will do no wrong in your eyes. You think this sort of thing doesn’t go on all the time? Don’t be naive of course it does. Not everyone lights the blue touch paper and blabs on social media though. Your lot for instance signed a rider last winter that had already signed for someone else months earlier. It’s business, it happens.
  17. The negative publicity isn’t ideal obviously, but that isn’t the fault of anyone at the club. That’s down to a pi$sed off rider who knew exactly what he was doing by going public which has opened up a can of worms that others have now jumped in on including other riders now sticking the boot in. This kind of thing goes on all the time behind closed doors, loyalty is a two way thing. Sometimes clubs let riders down, sometimes riders let clubs down. It’s business but it should be kept in house.
  18. And Doyle will still finish top of the averages
  19. You’re right of course but I think he’s effectively being signed as the reserve and you’d expect them to swap after the first set of averages change and people are just looking a bit longer term. That’s IF Hume even signs..
