  1. You dream on. Nicholls signed a contract with Peterborough in December I believe. So he was never available to Newcastle, and that was stated on here quite regular.
  2. Yes, but the travel arrangement mentioned could still be a viable travel arrangement.
  3. It would be Kennett and Perks for me, but can't see Kennett leaving the comfort of the South.
  4. Ironically I think there is only Craig Cook and Robert Lambert who could qualify as being 'home grown', over 6.00 ave and haven't got a Championship place. Both have stated they are going to miss that league out of their schedules, so what we have been waiting for will not deliver what we need. HMMMMM
  5. It's certainly not an open door as first though and very selective with it being 'home grown'. You still qualify tho.
  6. If I remember correctly he will ride in Poland in the same team as Hancock and Kus.
  7. Don't think so as Kennett has lots of interest down south, and probably would not come this far north every week. My guess is what Ruff is saying, now the rule has gone, we will be looking for who falls into the 'home grown' situation, and who is then available. Then sign someone that fits under the limit. There is still the possibility of a new foreign rider from the EU(no visas), or a returnee having ridden here before.
  8. I can now see why you rarely post, and have a mania for 'like'ing' others.
  9. Are trying the denial act now. I can only quote what you yourself put on here. You also said that you wouldn't go now even if they paid you to. Deny that if you can.
  10. I am quoting what you put on here once, so no fake news, just you trying to deflect the truth. You got in because of a magazine connection, and when that stopped you were expected to pay like everyone else. You chose to walk because you wouldn't pay. Yawn as much as you like, but your truth will follow you.
  11. Forgetting of course the reason you turned cynical then gullible, was when Belle Vue stopped you getting in for nothing and insisted on you paying like every other fan had to do. Your views are therefore worthless.
  12. I remember Paul Thorp was always a 'slow starter' every season with Hull and then Worky.
  13. I think the main aim would be to get a 7.5 rider and over, so we had a big number 1, and not go with Ludde like we did a few years ago. He had an average of 7.15 and he was castigated unfairly for having to be our number 1. Wasn't his fault we built the team that way.
  14. Yes, but only if that was the only point in the arguement. It is very relevant as a reminder.
  15. Quite agree with everything. It is not your normal firms eating habits where some can go missing on an early lunch, followed by those on a later lunch. A job such as a TV programme, an open concert, a horse racing meeting, outside broadcast for a important news item, etc, is dynamic and can only be completed when the workforce needs to be on call, hence a standard chuck wagon on site which is available to all. For the same reason for keeping in contact just in case, the workforce often have walkie talkies if the site is on various activities spread out and out of sight.
  16. Good turnout on Sunday including Martin, wife Tina, his brother and Danny, so a great representation from our new promotion family. Another session of this Sunday starts at 10.00am, but come with warm clothing on. Everyone welcome.
  17. Been there once, no chance of a second opportunity.
  18. Very retired. Handy on that average and not in any Elite League squad in Poland, but you have got to fancy that he will be in Poland somewhere.
  19. I think you will find your post of 2.20pm yesterday was the one that brought it up once again. Loser again eh. Anyway this thread is not about you and me.
  20. I don't think BT offered anything in terms of money, but were given the opportunity by the BSPA, and funded by the SKY money which was paid up in lieu of the paid up contract. It had been hoped that BT were pleased with what they saw, and had identified where they could perform better this year. There was talk on here about production costs being paid and small money for the rights to continue, but it would seem we need to wait and see if the BSPA can draw all promotions in to accept a decent deal.
  21. You have got to remember that Stoke Potter believes that all tracks should be the same as like Polish tracks and if that means some(or most) tracks have to close, so be it. What a tosser he is. Redcar is way better than a training track.
  22. The bank is too steep to be safe for people standing on it. I was on it for the very first meeting and we were all moved off it for safety reasons.
