Does anybody know if Wolbert has a Sunday riding team in Poland for 2018. He doesn't appear in their 2018 Elite league team lineups, and I wondered if he was riding in a lower league. ?

Championship Predictions 2018
Tsunami replied to RedcarRacer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Why didn't you just post number 11 as that's all you were trying to say, numpy. Get back to the village. -
Let's hope theses tyres are fully tested before the event. The last thing that FIM, IGM, BSPA, BT and the riders and supporters need is bad publicity on opening night. Everyone better take some Mitas tyres just in case if I were them. We've been here too many times.

By, you have a cracking memory TG. I remember it well, and I think John Branney guested for them and broke his ankle on the 4th bend. I stood toe to toe with Barney when Eddie was riding, and took the mick out of him for his wild enthusiasm. It's what fathers do but. RuffD Yes it could, but not sure he would want to travel that far, and don't forget I think he still does stox racing and is pretty good at it. Never buy a silencer off him tho.

Great news to hear we now have a main sponsor who has been, and is, a real long term fan. John has regularly been a meeting sponsor and has appeared on the kevlars of many home riders. So a new promoter Martin(to be confirmed by the BSPA I think), a new safe sponsor, 5 riders signed and just 2 to be signed and announced. Great progress since Sapphire left, In a very short period. Obviously the promotion couldn't publish 'no news' and I think it has been seen it has been worth waiting for. Interesting Scott Nichols is very upbeat on todays tweet, maybe that he is going to be allowed to ride for Peterborough, so we can rule out that avenue for our number 1 and concentrate on other avenues. I wonder is there is anybody riding in the Premiership, who is not riding in Poland, and could be considered for D'Uing with us. Either that or a foreign rider with previous experience in the UK who could be talked back to the UK. Just my own guesses I would add.

So if he didn't do the Ben Meeting you could slag him off, and now he IS riding in it he is just using it for his own reasons ?. Jason has probably benefitted more than most riders in the past with his injuries, and perhaps like Ben Barker does, he feels it is a duty to support such a great event that makes available funds available to all riders at some stage in their careers.

As I have said many times on here. I have a great deal of respect for what Rick and Julie achieved, and he needed a lot of help to know speedway. Great pits area down to him. Always with Swales but fell into bad company from Coventry. I think he realised that a few years later, and went in with Matt Ford as his sponsor, so he did see the light eventually and it would have been better for speedway for him to have stayed.

Brent Verner was quite quiet, but he acquired a taste for Brown Ale and he took several bottles home with him after every home meeting. I think his wife Kirsty's father used to travel with him for each meeting. Nice pleasant guy with a dry American humour and great gater. I remember when he went up with Eastbourne in the EL and was a 7 pointer straight away just based on gating.

Unfortunately for you I do.
-
Well he was easily led wasn't he.
-
He'll only deny it.
-
Well obviously he wouldn't need a van.
-
Possibly Raymond, known as Tommy in speedway. I have always understood his name could be Tommy.
-
Thanks. I thought it was something like Steve or Tommy.
-
What's Scott's dads name ?.

Hi Pinny. Just to reinforce what you say about NKI. When Newport came to Newcastle, Puk never came into the bar after the meeting, but stayed in the vehicle outside whilst his mechs were in the bar. That doesn't happen very often does it. Nice shy guy Puk. Lund was a brilliant gater, but would often lose a place every lap as he couldn't defend his position. Craig Cook used to have the same problem in his first season at Worky but soon got out of that habit. Always felt that Kristian Lund was too big and should have worked on his fitness cos he was always big.

How can you make that stupid statement, when you don't know which option we're taking to fill the number 1 spot. ?
-
Average 8.48 in 2017 so NO.

We are talking about crowd behaviour, and the child abuse, smacking the kids, was reported at the time. They don't come any more.

Funny how that problem has now gone, so it was there. Nothing sanctimonious about it, try the truth.
