To elaborate. I don`t think the Ward case was ever mentioned in the Star before it came to court, the first I saw of it in the Star was when it was all done and dusted in Wards favour . I might be wrong but thats what I believe.

Haven`t bought the star for years and don`t intend to start now. Much of the content seems to be taken from press releases from the various clubs and I believe some of the journalistic reports are biased towards a certain club, thats just my opinion.

Monday Monday reminds me of Wolverhampton speedway... it was at the top of the charts when I first went to Wolverhampton . I think it was their signature tune at that time....Probably went to see Tommy Roper doing one of his World Champ Qualifying rounds......

I`ve just been reading some tweets on the subject of the bike show and I must say the people at Coventry, ( the Randles especially ) deserve a lot of credit for organising a stand at this event because they are not solely there for the good of Coventry Bees but for the good of the sport in general apparently handing out flyers with ALL league clubs listed on it along with a video screen showing racing...I was amazed to read that the BSPA have not shown any interest in this event, By the sound of it the stand is getting a lot of interesting visitors so again well done to the people at Coventry....

Glad Middlo`s gone, he didn`t have much idea as was proven by the results, think he was even embarrassed himself to be in the job......

All credit to Zagar I think he`s done a good thing, he obviously thinks he`s going to qualify on his own merit and by withdrawing he`s given another chap a chance to qualify even though that chap is Bomber Harris .

Well done to Tai, It was a pity Lebedevs slipped up and let Ward into the final, it spoiled the night for me. ...I think Tai did let Pedersen through but am not bothered about that....

Danny King was chosen because they daren`t nominate Chris Harris, Think they realised nominating Harris wouldn`t go down too well. Personally think Danny deserves the pick after the way he was treated in the World Cup. ........Good Luck to him...

Prefer the Eurosport coverage without Mr Shouty, Only criticism I have is I think Scott is trying too hard to impress and needs to scale down his commentary, last night they were discussing various issues whilst the racing was in progress......only saying.

Don`t know what all the fuss is about...A chap has repeatedly broken the laws of this country and been punished, thats how it should be ......I have no sympathy for the Wards / Lees / Gazzas of this world who continue to cross paths with the law ( guilty or otherwise )

I think Tai has a good style of riding he`s more on the lines of Leigh Adams / Eric Boocock. Am not a fan of the Holder / Ward style of riding they`re never in full control .....in my opinion....

Iversen was a deserved winner, Am not a Tai fan but gotta give him credit he`s doing good , Woffy or Emil will do for world champion for me, Ward would be my last choice for world champion only good thing about Ward is he doesn`t grin into the camera at every opportunity...( well not yet )

Thoroughly enjoyed it, it was nice to see some different faces for a change, thought Vaculic was very unlucky to be excluded but he didn`t help himself running a last place earlier on, Woffy played it safe in his earlier rides and it payed off, didn`t miss Mr Shouty at all in fact it was a blessing without him there was no biased commentry and I didn`t hear Wards name mentioned once. So to sum up a popular winner in Emil and a good showing from Woffy. Looking forward to the next round,

Thankfully the Ozzie team of Ward / Batchelor ( Ward didn`t rate the others in the team ) didn`t win. Well done to the Poles BUT the team that didn`t need to use the joker finished second which was a travesty .

It amazes me how many people on here don`t know why Scott Nicholls wasn`t in team G.B. they`re obviously not regular speedway goers

Didn`t understand taking Bomber out and putting Tai in what was that all about ? Middlo`s motivational skills are zero ! I would have kept Cooky in along with Danny King. It was a total disaster but will anybody in authority care ?

Don`t understand what Middlo`s supposed to be doing if he didn`t go to the seminar to get the required paperwork surely he`s surplus to requirements. He must be there to fill in Morris`s programme.

Seeing as Muddlo had picked Kennett the least he could have done was given him a chance, it was too early to take him out after one ride, It was also a bad choice to put Woffy in his place on a Joker, Personally don`t think Muddlo has much idea he was very lucky the Joker came off. It was a shame the track was tricky early on think Cook would have done better but he obviously found it hard going. and I would have no problems if he was picked for the next round but Kennett has to go, should never have been picked but he`s one of Muddlo`s blue eyed boys..
